Biggest spending? I booked a 5 week trip to South Korea and Japan in Summer this year. As in, a few weeks before I left. Five plane tickets, five hotels, all in one day. All in all, it was probably $6600 or 45300 KRW for the entire trip - food, transport, experiences inclusive. Was 100% worth it though, had a great time. Saving up for the next trip

I think my biggest spending was clothes for my children as well as Christmas presents. I grew up quite poor, so I made each one a toiletry bag with soap, shampoo, raspberry toothpaste (they‘re both still very small), a couple of scrunchies, body lotion and those little bottles of shower gel from The Body Shop, which was meant to be used in preparation for a bath in the tub. I still haven‘t gotten around to giving them their presents, because of work, unfortunately, but as we say in Austria: „The kind of joy of what‘s supposed to come is the best kind of joy.“ And seeing as they‘re both very happy little children, I don‘t feel as bad as I could feel right now. But I do miss them terribly and I hope this whole thing with work away from home will finish up soon. My eldest is inheriting my red Bomber jacket and my sheep-wool jacket - that one was difficult to clean by hand, let me tell you!
