@@kaaner3735 Valid. However, it is because of the kdrama and kpop scene that we are introduced to the actual culture of South Korea. The food, the language, the cultural mannerisms and the 'drive' they have speaks for itself. The society as a whole has traits and norms that are unique to them as how it would be in other countries. I find it commendable 😌

The dichotomy between reality and fantasy is stark but the Korean 'culture' portrayed still remains. South Korea has it's own culture and norms that are specific to them. The traditions, cuisine, high society lifestyle, agriculture, fashion, infrastructure, developments, history, social lifestyle are some I find interesting to read about and possibly experience. I appreciate the heads up though.

When my family visited Puglia three years ago, I was awestruck that, for once, we haven't bumped into any Germans - not a one - and we stayed there for two weeks! Mein Lieblingsland ist Deutschland, ich finde vorallem die süddeutschen Gegenden und Kulturen extrem schön. Zudem bin ich natürlich hier aufgewachsen und verbinde alle meine Erinnerungen mit diesem Ort. Den zweiten Platz belegt Österreich, welches optisch einfach extrem schön ist und auch die Menschen dort, waren in allen Urlauben, die ich dort schon gemacht habe, total gastfreundlich. Allerdinga finde ich auch die tropischen Länder mit ihrer Artenvielfalt an Flora und Fauna sehr beeindruckend.

Mein Lieblingsland wäre Russland, weil Russisch meine Lieblingssprache ist. Ausserdem mag ich die Architektur, die Landschaft, den Kleidungsstil der Frauen und das Aussehen der Männer (im Allgemeinen). Warscheinlich ist es verpönt, das zu sagen, aber es war schon seit langem so. Natürlich gefallen mir andere Aspekte des Landes nicht so sehr, besonders in letzter Zeit, aber mein Traum/Fantasie bleibt es, Russland irgendwann zu besuchen. Wer weiss, vielleicht wenn ich dort bin, finde ich es nicht so toll 😅 abgesehen von Russland würde ich Dänemark auswählen; ich war dort einmal und die Atmosphäre ist toll!

I visited Russia several times between 1988 and 1994. And I visited Donezk and Sotsch, Leningrad in 1988 as well. In Nepal I was in 1992.

Greek mainland. I didn't have the chance so far (only Corfu, which was beautifull as well). The mythology, all these historic buildings and the extremely vast nature. The north and the middle are most likely not so well known. I plan to go there for at least two weeks, travel from north to south. I'm especially excited for the Zagori/Epirus region. And I already know I will go there a second time, because I had to cut out some places I want to go, because all I want to see and experience simply doesn't fit into 2 weeks. :)

My favorite countries : - USA because there's diverse , beautiful , fun , rich and there have many famous universities , cities , national parks and landmarks. - Switzerland because there's beautiful , safe , clean , have a great quality of life and I like snow , cheese , chocolate. - Canada because there's beautiful , friendly people , safe , such a tolerant place and there's near USA. - Germany because there have a great infrastructure and transportation that make there comfortable to go everywhere or visit another countries in Europe and there's also beautiful. - Nordic countries (Sweden , Norway , Finland and Denmark) because there's beautiful , clean , safe and you have a choice to visit beautiful cities in Sweden and Denmark or explore the northern light in Norway and Finland.

I've never been to the Philippines, but friends of mine who have been there said it was a lovely country, the people they met were nice and friendly and everybody loved the food. I hope can visit it one day. Also, I love that you love my home country Austria :-)
