the first game i played from the saga series was minstrel song and i got so hooked up in this series so far! i wanted to try out the original romancing saga 1 but i couldn't find an english version so i thought to try something else and i'll see romancing saga 3 + saga frontier thank you for the video 🥰

The Legends games were remade for the 3ds and there are fan translations out for them. Makes for a fun replay especially for those of us who played the originals.

For me, my most favorite SaGa game was SaGa Frontier. But I do wish they would do a modern remake of Final Fantasy Legend 2 (SaGa).

I tried Katarina but I couldn’t get the story at beginning to anywhere. I got the key and hid it then then her stuff but every time I chose wait nothing happens.

I was one of the English SNES rom fan translation beta testers and am still a huge fan of the series. I actually disliked Final Fantasy Legend 1 & 2 as well as Saga Frontier due to the battle mechanics and Saga Frontier never telling you exactly what to do (i.e. do not step into certain areas early on as Asellus or various late game story bosses instantly kill your underpowered party -- I am looking at you, Lion Princess! 😸)😅

May be stupid, but I have no idea if I’m grinding too much or too little in saga games. If they just removed BR these games would be so much more accessible. No matter what I do I just always seem to run into a wall.

@@KevintribaI I don’t remember the specifics, but the most traumatizing experience that immediately comes to mind is from the last remnant. It’s not really a saga game, but really it is in all but name. There was this boss and I saved right before fighting him and I could no longer leave the room to go grind. Thing is I leveled up too much specifically because I was having trouble with an earlier boss probably because I leveled up too much, and they gave this new boss the ability to one shot any of my units and revive them charmed under his control. The fight was impossible. When I looked it up I was like 60 br too high. Saga makes zero sense to me and I don’t know what it expects from me. I want to like them but I have no idea what to do if enemies are becoming too difficult. I don’t grind I can’t beat them. I do grind and they just get made stronger. My stats just don’t keep up and I don’t know what to do. I want to enjoy them, but the games don’t give me any feedback about why I’m falling behind.

RS2 Remake is the best by far. I dont like most Saga games. Hope they remake RS3 too.

I thought the battle system was ok i just hated the gameboard and lack of exploration and visting new towns and stuff i love just randomly exploring stuff in the other saga games
