Now I actually, and maybe for the first time, believe you went to Arizona to get degree. I hear you love Forensic Anthro; I bet I would too. Stay well! Love you!

Can you guys make a video focusing on some engineering stuff at ASU, and maybe the Barrett experience as well? Im a senior in high school and I would love to go to ASU Tempe but I just want to know more about the engineering side of everything (also, I love y’all’s Kanye outro 🗣️)

I'm a PhD student at ASU with multiple master's degrees in engineering. I also have decades of work experience. IMO, ASU is too large to get the attention you need as a freshman or sophomore. The courses are fast paced without much time or resources for individuals to get tutoring. ASU has outgrown its resources compared to the 90s. Modern ASU is also more competitive compared to the 90s because of the large international population. Many of them are very elite and know python, Unix, java, C++, CAD, etc. like the back of their hand. It's like to be a student in those ultra-large courses you have to have already had that course someplace else. Go figure. I would recommend spending two years at a community college then transfer in as a junior. The caveat would be if you went to a very elite HS with 10+ AP programs and are already like a college student at 17. But in AZ that is not always going to happen. If you feel you can compete with an international student from someplace like Russia, India or Singapore or Korea who just lived in the library and passed 5 AP courses at age 17, then go for it. For rural Arizonans of my youth, they'd be better off going to a community college first.

What would you say is the most challenging part of campus life?

Wait forensic anthropology sounds like such a fun course what are the requirements to take it?
@AvaryHutzelman6 ай бұрын
No requirements I don’t think, it’s all online but I found it extremely interesting, making it easy to follow. A ton of memorization.

does your friend think ENG 102 is hard? gonna be a freshman next year there and have that as one of my classes
@josuetapia53788 ай бұрын
Don’t know if it’s different but I’m currently taking ENG 102 (and 101 last semester) as a senior in Highschool with the Dual Enrollment and the class isn’t bad, the workload for me has been pretty light I’ve had a couple of small assignments and about 2-3 actual big papers I feel like the hardest part about it is the research and trying to find sources/sighting them, but again it might be different

Hey there - ENG 102 is not hard at all. No need to worry!
