@YourRichAuntie I like that you termed it open like that too. It isn't just marriage. I had 2 uncles who went through a bitter court battles to divide a business they started in their 20s. Half the extended family doesn't speak to the other half. They live 2 houses down from each other. It's terrible.

Agree, but 'partner' is so vague these days.

@7SideWays well yeah, partner could mean a lot of things. And pretty much any of those things could destroy you financially if you don't pick the right person to partner up with.

'Millionaire ' is so common today, especially homeowners in HCOL areas. Portfolio millionaire gets me to listen.
