We need real unity between the Muslim fiqh madhabs and the Muslim aqeedah sects. Currently we treated non-Muslims in more friendly manner than Muslims from other madhabs but especially Muslims from other aqeedah sects. We talk about each other and behaviour towards each other completely unislamicly masked in fake justifications from the deen. If we could really come together as 1.8 billion Muslims on this Earth and unite are intelligence, resources and education, etc then I feel we could make a real difference in this world.

The very good point dr Yasir has pointed out about india-Pakistan partition, but the fact of the matter is if Pakistan and Bangladesh were not created today India would have 6-700 millions of Muslim population. With which bjp as such radical idea would have never been invented, and the tactic that played major rule was the British which after the collapse of caliphate in the 1923, promised the Indian Muslim to help them survive the caliphate in India . Which never happed and as before the Indian colonization the Muslims were ruling for 800 years , and Muslims could have continued after 1947- and made things and life better any ways by achieving Pakistan the world just got all the extremist which were funded by the super powers in Pakistan, to terrorize the rest of the world it’s neighboring countries all jihadist that took charge of these geopolitics has never helped Islam they just defamed it .I don’t see any great future for the Pakistanis all the political system is corrupted there is no democracy . No freedom. No economy I believe partition was good for western powers to keep these nations involved in hatred and war for ever . Never ever benefited the public

Huge respect But Sheikh has to expand on how The Sub Continent fell to 1500 British sailors How did they end up in this position? How are we Muslims in this position and the same applies to the Ottoman empire. How did this happen. It wasnt Europe vs the Muslim world, Europe hated each other. What happened? Please tell us.
@ahmadjuwayni62562 ай бұрын
With all respect to sheikh Dr yasir qadhi.. I love him and a lot of his work but he's majorly off on some of his politics here... He's saying he's for partition of the subcontinent but at the same time is promoting the idea of being a British/American Muslim and of western Islam. This is very strange given that the Muslims of the subcontinent are actually the same people as the Hindus and have been there for centuries. The extremism of India could have been dealt with together and the millions who were killed and lost in partition wouldnt have been killed if the context wasn't a rushed and foolish partition of such a msssive landmass.... meanwhile the west actively invades muslim lands and kills our people and has been doing so for last 250 years and promotes filth and evil yet for him we can be from them and there is no need to separate or leave.. a very strange paradox Dr yasir... they westerners are a different people from us and most don't like our presence. We have lost our cultures and identities being in these lands, yet Dr. Yasir would not apply the same logic he applies to the partition of the subcontinent here..I don't find that to be sound reasoning sir. He talks about the RSS pre-partition, what of the neo nazis and white supremacists of the west, and we are their favourite scapegoat. Hijra is a very sound and realistic option.. we should return to our lands and help fix them and make them into prosperous and productive societies. It's funny how many doctors there are in the USA paying millions of dollars of tax to Isre al, while in the villages of their grandparents in Pakistan women are dying in childbirth and people are dying of small complications. In a lecture on Andalusia he talks about how the Muslims of Spain serve as an example of 'western Islam'.. what western islam? They were an Arab culture and that was the dominant language and culture.. hardly culturally western... This same channel has an interview with him and the majorly confused Dr Tariq Ramadan who I don't know why was invited to this channel.. his ideas of culture and identity are more make believe than reality.. just projecting his own hopes on others (for example his idea of being a European Muslim.. no one in the UK cares about being a European muslim and the UK Muslims hardly know anything about the Muslims of France or Germany, there's no cooperation or much care, yet because Ramadan himself is a well travelled European he projects his identity onto others...

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله I try to make excuses but he keeps separating western Muslims from the Muslim world. That is essentially the problem; the separation! In order to have civilizational strength we need to move and act as one civilization. In the sharia how do national line drawn by colonizers weigh heavier than sharia. Think about it. May Allah protect us purify us and rectify us. May Allah liberate the oppressed. @ 31:40 when he said "we drank the cool aide" bingo 🎯 To worship and surrender allegiance to these western countries, Nations states created with the goals of colonizers in mind is that cool-aide.
@salty40962 ай бұрын
He may be referring more to a logistical issue. Muslims in the west are distant and unaware of the exact situations on the ground in muslim majority countries and cannot as foreigners tell the local muslim populaces to overthrow their governments, whilst they themselves sit in comfort in the west. We saw this with Syria where the Syrian muslims were devastated whilst the muslims in the west sat in comfort.

I have to disagree with Dr. Yasir Qadhi. He articulated a strategy that leads Muslims into the world of secular politics and nonMuslim dominion with no plan for upholding the Cause of Allah. In fact, his strategy, already followed for over 30 years, violates the aya Holy Quran 11:113 "And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped." Muslims are a single ummah. Muslims in the West ARE part of the Muslim Ummah. Just this Ramadan, Western imams had iftar with Biden a d other Western leaders, while they were murdering Muslim children and committing genocide. Integration into the West as "Western Muslims" also means "inclining towards those who do wrong". The very idea of "Abrahamic Accords" began with Western Muslims at IIIT in Herndon Virginia. The lead "Abrahmic" scholar, Taha Jabr al Alwani, passed the fatwa of Musli.s participating jn secular politics & even joiningthe US military. At this moment, there are Palestinian Muslims working at Lovkheed Martin making bombs to kill Palestinians. Dr Qadhi is wrong. His path does not lead to the Cause of Allah
@ma58392 ай бұрын
In fact, there are Palestinians working in American military contractors making bombs to kill Palestinians. This is "Western Islam". Hamza Yusuf and other Western imams agreed to the Abrahamic Accords, establishing peace/submitting to Israeli Occupation. As for the UK, Labour voters including majority of British Muslims. Being "politically incorrect" to go more hardcore include secularism is not a path to The Cause of Allah

Jinnah literally said we want a land where we can implement the laws of Islam, " “We do not demand Pakistan simply to have a piece of land but we want a laboratory where we could experiment on Islamic principles.” The literal slogan of the Pakistan movement was "Pkaistan ka Matlab kya... La-ilaha ill-Allah"... "what does Pakistan mean? La ilaha ill Allah" Alhamdulillah for JINNAH and every single person who had any part in the creation of Pakistan... we are forever in debt! Having listened again, Dr Qadhi should avoid voicing opinions on matters for which he is not thoroughly versed. Such as world affairs. The Partition was a grand conspiracy against the Muslims of India, separating them into three groups, with Hindutva amassed between them. 6 million people die. Centuries of Islamic heritage, "integrated into nonMuslim societies", wiped out. Many ulama opposed the Partition but secularists supported it in their nationalist mindsets acquired from the West. It is better NOT to support such tyranny even if a few benefit from it. And Dr Qadhi's viewpoint that "Western Muslims" have different interests from the rest of the Ummah is being fostered by Western powers to subvert Ummah interests.
