I have a question my parents got divorced in 1995. I got a hold of the divorce decree but its no settlement agreement. Do I get the settlement agreement from a different court or does that mean they didn't do a settlement or any custodial agreement through the courts. Also if they didnt do a settlement agreement would that be considered automatic joint custody at the time. I was born in wedlock.

My ex husband made me sign a weird agreement. We only lasted 4 years and he's 12 years my junior. Currently I am 43 and he 31 been divorced 5 years already. He made me sign that I won't have a new partner or a child until he says so. In exchange he is giving me $10,000 dollars a month for life with increases until my death. Honestly I never thought of having a new partner but I want a baby. Currently me and my ex husband we are waiting for our twin babies. Yes we are back together. Been together since April. My question is it legal in New York to have this agreement? I mean can my ex dictate if I can have a new partner or a child? Honestly I don't want a partner but a baby is my biggest dream.
