Good speaker, the problem is there are establishment movers in the background who want to see Everton devalued as much as possible for political reasons and therefore a fair judgement is unlikely IMO

Just because the EFL handed out heavy points deductions in the past doesn't mean a) they were right to do it or b) that it is right to do it now. Luton Town and their supporters still feel that it was an injustice 15 years later and I would find it very hard to disagree with them. When someone comits a crime you punish the offender. Punishing a football team is punishing many more than just the offenders. You are punishing the fanbase and you are intefering with sporting integrity. The fact is that Everton are being punished for a sum of money that is tiny compared to allegations concerning other clubs, who have not been punished; may not be punished and (if the 10 points deduction stands) it may not be possible to punish proportionately.

Apparently they’ve all withdrawn because they don’t wish to see us go into administration. That’s not to say there won’t be any settlement payments.
