As a christian I was also asked to cover up before going inside a church in armenia. Just saying that people should respect the country and their religion or dont visit at all :)

Same should apply to the UK but certain religious groups don’t want to integrate with the other religious groups. UK is joke now.

I had this notion that mini dresses weren’t allowed in Dubai. Thank god I watched your vlog because I’m going in August and would like to wear a few mini dresses (not to the mosque, but just for dinner and brunch).

Hi Mabel, thanks for this informative video. It would be good to know what women as tourists can wear while travelling in metros/ public transport.

Thanks for watching! It is advised to cover shoulders and knees on metro but many ignore this so I wouldn't worry to much

Brunch is a shortened word for breakfast and lunch combined here in Australia. It's when you overslept 😄.

Is it much different during Ramadan? I’m going in April and was hoping to wear normal holiday clothes and just throw on a kimono or something when going into malls
@mabelgoulden8722 жыл бұрын
Hey! It used to be that Ramadan was very different but it is becoming less and less enforced. I would say you’ll be fine as I’m sure most the time you’ll be around your hotel anyway!

Thank you for the video, okay in the malls there are dresscode How is it in the downtown for example to take photos? Or on the street in down town or in marina
@stalin14892 жыл бұрын
nothing to worry buddy if you're worried about dreescode. watch this video it wil clear your worries about dresscode lol. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqfNqqiDmKiWmqs

in the malls I have been, they have signs saying no clothing above your knees. both men and women. In the Street, I would guess its the same. but at the beaches or pools or anything close to those areas like the marina. or outdoor malls. dress how you'd like. and ofc u can wear whatever swimsuit at the beach. restaurants are probably close to the mall dresscode but a little more chill. but ut depends on the restaurant. a restaurant on the marina or beach, is fine. I wore a swimsuit 🩱 to a restaurant on the beach. but probably ones near the burn Khalifa and the mall, just regular clothes

@mabelgoulden872 Жыл бұрын

@1pearljamfan4987 күн бұрын
It's better to wear modest clothes such as skirts or dresses that go below your knees and cover your shoulders. Be respectful of the attire they prefer, google your question and see what it says.

@eb2023 Жыл бұрын
It's not your body, it's the attitude, ignorance, and disrespect comes from foreigners and tourists, especially in the Arab countries. In any country people should follow the custom and culture. It would make the experience pleasant.

@@eb2023 I've been living here my whole life. Why would I hide my body for your religion. Is it about the lack of self control that you guys have or what bc I'm tired of wearing a hijab in order to not get arrested or banned from my university and being unable to have education/healthcare/etc
