What should Saints expect from QB Derek Carr this season?

As a relatively new Saints fan I must say, I can’t believe how negative the fans and newscasters of New Orleans are! Their negativity can only be matched by their ignorance and lack of perspective!!! Perspective: last season Carr lead them to a season one missed give me field goal from not only making the playoffs but WINNING THE FRIGGIN DIVISION!!! (By the way….Carr got hurt in the second half of that game leaving with a 17-0 lead!) But you trash the quarterback who should have been out for a month but didn’t miss one game! Not to mention he lead a team running the 1969 Kansas City Chiefs offense! You sportscasters in New Orleans don’t do your homework either! Carr has MORE come from behind victories than QB in the last decade! He consistently throws for over 4,000 yards (which he did four of the last five seasons with the Raiders! All except his last season in Vegas when he was benched, but on pace for 4,000 yards! You sportscasters can’t see or think for yourself! We probably have the best defense in the league! At worst top 3! The addition of Chase Young and Willie Gay makes a great defense both better and deeper! The offense has an up to date coordinator finally! The fact that you can’t decipher that means an explosive offense with the speed and skill players we have is truly sad! The weak spot is the offensive line., but that will be lessened by play calling!!! Every f@cling team in the league is hopeful and optimistic except for the Saints! You should be so ashamed!!!

I’m sorry, Derek Carr (nearly single handedly) drug the Saints to the 9th best points scored offense. Those ARE the numbers. With a sup-par OC & virtually no run game. Derek Carr WAS the reason the Saints scored that many points last season. Everyone has tried to minimize that with “garbage time”, but the Saints rarely lost or won by a lot, so where was the “garbage time” padding those stats? Are you going to name one or two games? Then are you going to pretend that EVERY QB in the the NFL didn’t also have One or Two games like that? Saints fans & media legitimately have “CDS”. Carr Derangement Syndrome.
