What Sin Really Is

It's tiresome to hear people argue over what is and isn't "sinful." The Bible defines this word for us succinctly and in simple terms. When you know what sin is and what sin isn't, the whole debate becomes irrelevant. From then on, you KNOW what's right and what's wrong.

The way I got to understanding sin is that I learned about the fear of the Lord. When you live that principle, you automatically hate sin. In that way you can tell what is and what isn't against the heart of God. Proverbs 8:13, The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Also, the more you genuinely love God and other people, the more you hate sin because sin destroys people.
