For me who's looking to transition from inliners to quads, the market is a blur - and I didn't know specs or brands to looks for, or even have an inkling of what constitutes good quads. Your video here has been extremely helpful in this regard, and I'm now shopping around to see what I can find in my country (or within EU at least). Thanks and keep up the good work!

Just FYI - Moxi skates are made by Riedell, that's why they're built so well! Unless you've got your heart set on a specific colour or style, you can save a few quid going for the Riedells 👍

Still don't know what to buy between Bauers & Suregrip for Outdoor skating & everything like park, dance, street... Is Bauers just a london thing or it's really good ?

Hi there, in terms of size on the Bauer they are true to size? I use a 9,5 on adidas trainers should I order the same size on Bauers?cheers
@JackMatthew Жыл бұрын
With the ones I've recommended, they're true to size. Some of the older models from back in the day you'll have to get a size up

Hi- I wanna start skating to work and want something that lasts forever for daily use so out of everything you discussed- which are the best ones to purchase, that are your most used and favourite and worth it to get?
@JackMatthew3 ай бұрын
Hey! I'd recommend Bauers if I'm honest. They are the most sturdy skates & last long. Only downsides is that you may have to buy souls for a lil more comfort or potentially put something at the front of the boot. It's all really down to preference & what people can take. All in all. Bauers are light. sturdy, designed for tough torraine & putting them through their paces so I'm sure they'll be the best option in my opinion.

Hey there ! So I got my first pair of Bauer Xls today and they recommended I go a size up. I’m usually a size 5.5 UK, so I got a 6. I did try them in the shop (the ice skate version) but now at home trying them properly together I’m not sure if the size is the way it’s supposed to be. It’s quite wide and I’m not sure if some extra tugging on the shoe laces will bring them in slightly. Like will it in a sense become “softer”smaller (sorry not sure which word to use to describe this) or should it be quite loose fitting? My foot isn’t sliding out or anything . I’m thinking maybe getting my true size (5.5 instead)- just checking that I’m not being silly .

I don’t think they make half sizes
@JackMatthew7 ай бұрын
So sorry I've only just seen this! See back in the day I would've recommended going up a size but nowadays they seem very true to size ( depending on the make ) I'd say if you haven't tried wearing double/ triple socks or put a sponge/padding at the end, I'd say go for 5.5.

I just bought the turbo pro, man the skate is heavy
@JackMatthew8 ай бұрын
Hey man! Yeah the skate is definitely on the heavier side. I apologise for not saying that. Like I said in the video, they are great to learn in and put through the trenches. Once you learn in them and jump onto converts ( if you wanna take the leap ) you'll be flying! Enjoy the process & lemme know if you have any questions!
