You're so real for this. Thank you sister for helping us other little sisters out. Hearing that you CAN give yourself the permission to rebrand yourself is a relief.💜💙❤️

This is such a relief, honestly. I've been trying to be more mature and feminine, and have feared that those have known me for a long time will assume I'll still always be what I was. But we also tend to see the version of ourselves 3 iterations ago, not how far we come or where we are now. I need to be more consistent (changing old habits such as swearing can be difficult!) And I think thats the key.

You know what's interesting... sometimes when you move to that mature phase, epople around you are HAPPY you're doing it and they embrace it. It might not happen all the time, but you might be surprised.

I think consistency is key!! I guess once you find the better, healthier habits it makes you feel better that you want to show up for yourself and be proud of it And for the swearing… I find it to be the easy way out to express what we’re thinking and usually there’s a better way to do so and once we try to express exactly what we mean, it gets better
@gracemakeslace

@@em4888 it definitely is a shortcut for self-expression. I'm not very good at thinking of the words I want in the moment. I have a creative writing degree, and I'm SIGNIFICANTLY better at text conversations than I am in-person. It's the in-person life-conversations I regularly fail at. 😭

For God sakes, Sophia was 16yrs old! It's no surprise that she simply grew up! The difference between her & us is fame. We watched her go thru those awkward style & dating choices. Naturally we are watching the evolution of her maturity in all facets of life. She dressed like a teen when she was a teen. I agree, anyone can choose to upgrade their style whenever they want to. But give some of the girls you used as examples some slack & stop giving the boyfriend's the credit for somehow "upgrading" these women. As a woman grows up, so do her choices in men.

Idk why you’re so mad . She was young but some girls her age don’t mature this quick. You can tell she learned very quickly and we simply applaud her for that. I think it’s very impressive because it wasn’t too long ago that she dated Scott. We are just giving this woman her flowers and this video is to inspire other woman to leave the old negative habits in the past . Also - I believe Sophia was over 18 , I don’t think she was a minor dating Scott

First of all,what is your personal style?,do you prefer casual clothes or the formal ones?,if you prefer the casual ones make sure to wear a low scoop neck(that doesn’t expose your cleav@g*),and then wear a pair of high rise jeans or a high rise trousers,with a pair of small handbag,and then you could also spice things up,by wearing a hat or a scarf,it will surely elevate your look,you could also wear heels that is around 4 inches.

Yes this is true and I agree that this is how it works... It's an extremely shallow societal game though, and is that a good thing, really? That being said, I still absolutely love Jillz's videos, so not being hateful towards her or the video or anything. But why does this have to be "taught" in the first place? To me it just looks like this girl that she is talking about in the video conformed to a certain standard that was probably suggested to her. Why should this be encouraged in women? Do we even know if she likes what she is wearing? No. But everyone else likes it, so that's all that counts. I'm getting to a point where i'm honestly getting so goddamned sick of how harshly women are judged and seen depending on what they are wearing or whatever. Especially celebrity women, like honestly, just leave them the f*ck alone, they have it difficult enough with the whole world watching and judging them. As for myself i want to be seen for my qualities and abilities, not just my appearance. My inside always feels completely invalidated (by society as a whole) because the only thing that people pay attention to is my looks. Yes, it's nice to get compliments when people call me beautiful or likes my outfit, sure, but that's mainly it, they don't bother to look past that, despite the fact that there're so many great things me and many other women do daily that go by completely unnoticed🤦‍♀️ I honestly hope more women in the public eye will rebel against this... Shave their heads or something just to deliver a message. I wish women could just wear whatever the hell they feel like wearing, as long as it's not extremely inappropriate. What you wear shouldn't have to be seen as a direct extension of what you're all about at all times, but that's sadly the reality of things. I don't want to reinvent myself, I just wanna wear whatever I feel like wearing on that specific day and I don't wanna have to feel hypervigilant about it, and i want to date whoever i want to date without having to care about how it "looks" or if he will rub off on me. In terms of style and fashion, i'm very eclectic and i like to change things up, but I always get criticized for it. Sorry, rant over. I'm just so tired of society right now tbh. I guess only the ones who did gender studies will understand where i'm coming from with this... And I don't think other angry feminists perhaps watches these type of videos 😅 Oh well..😔

So bloody right. Honestly, you should just be yourself and that’s it. I feel like the woman who are the happiest do what makes them happy and really don’t care what other people think. They also are respected because they respect themselves and are taken seriously because they take themselves seriously - and you can do that and wear whatever the hell you want, it’s a demeanour rather than it is a clothes. Can clothes contribute to it? Sure. But clothes are not everything

I mean whenever we like it or not, we all judge each other based on how we look and society favors a certain aesthetic. In all fairness, dress all you want but I personally don’t wanna see more than what I am signing up for 😂
@TarotOverOracle
@TarotOverOracle 8 ай бұрын
@@kathydelarosa1286 More than what you are signing up for, meaning what? 🤨 You make it sound as if i wanted to walk around with nothing on or something. That was not the point whatsoever, it was about being comfortable and being yourself, not in an offensive or inappropriate way. How do you even "sign up" for the way people dress? Do you want to micromanage the clothes people are wearing according to your liking, or what?
