What’s the best way to get multiple reverbs loaded up in this thing? Also, here’s the link to the service: kzbin.infosNPOxLvQIdE?si=6bK-Hnw4JvNTrYrL

I don’t know if the LT has dual processing. But on the Helix my top line is all of my low dsp non-ambient effects. My gain Stages, chorus, and 3 reverbs. Then my second path. I Like the Glitz reverb for big modulated reverbs, then I use the 63 spring, and the third one changes a bunch. Second path is delays, stereo amps and Ir’s and an another reverb at the end to add room sound. LMK if this helps!
@JustinMuncy17 сағат бұрын
@@Jetix4273 From my research, the processing on the LT is the same as the Floor.And that’s exactly how I did it. Comp, drives, and chorus on the top line. Then stereo amps on the bottom. Then I could only include 1 stereo delay and one verb after the amps… the only thing that let me add a second reverb down there was removing and amp + cab block…
@moyperez-cortez59526 сағат бұрын
on the first path, add a second line but keep it series. you should be able to add all your dry effects, a mono mod and 2 delays and a verb. should be able to fit your second verb and stereo amps on the 2nd path.

I just went back to the helix lt. It's the sweet spot in the hx family for me. I had the fractal fm9 and quad cortex before. They all have trade offs. The footswtich spacing, built in expression, and ability to record dry/wet and edit with helix native for recording is just a great package for live and recording.
@JustinMuncy14 сағат бұрын
Nice!!! You’ve tried almost all of them! And I agree, they all have their trade offs. I did really enjoy using HX edit to build presets. That definitely sped up the process for me.

I had an LT for a while, I really loved it! I was terrible at making my own presets, but I'd pull up any Worship Tutorials presets and loved most of them. Their free AC30 preset is so good. I've used the QC for over a year now and I've finally gotten my ear used to it within the last few months and have got some great sounding presets now, but it took longer to get a good sound on the QC than it did on the Helix to me. I also think the Helix wet effects are better than the ones in the QC! I'm in love with my QC now but would be totally happy with a Helix if I had to use that instead.
@JustinMuncy17 сағат бұрын
Interesting!! Yeah, I feel like the Helix amps take more tweaking out of the box to sound great than the QC, but their wet FX are top notch! Especially the delays! Those were really inspiring to use.
@isaacwilliams15318 сағат бұрын
I went from Helix to Quad Cortex. The main thing I miss from Helix is as you said, the delays. The delays in QC just are not up to par. I love the capture tech, but the L6 modeling is incredible

I've used an HX Stomp for 4 years. If you find the Presets too bright and/or the trebles too harsh, go to the Cab Block and turn down the High Cut Parameter to about 5Khz so it matches the real Guitar Amp Speaker's Frequency Response. Switching Mics in the Cab Block is another fast way to get the sound into the ballpark for what you want.
@JustinMuncy10 сағат бұрын
Those are good tips!! I had an EQ cutting some low and high end on my preset!
@ododm116 сағат бұрын
When you use stereo amps, put an amp on each row because path 1 and path 2 has its own dsp so and amps and wet effects take up the most amount of dsp
@JustinMuncy15 сағат бұрын
I was trying to do that! I think I’ll just have to figure out how to adjust the routing to line 3. On the QC, you can just draw in splits but on the Helix, it seems like you have to have a FX block on the secondary line to get a split to appear?
@ododm111 сағат бұрын
@@JustinMuncy yeah you have to drag an already existing block and drag it for it to pop up. On the Helix LT, you can only have up to two paths so you will be able to get away with most effects you want in a worship pedalboard
@JustinMuncy10 сағат бұрын
@@ododm1 I’m pretty sure you can have 4 on the LT just like the floor! I was able to get secondary paths on both the top and bottom lines. I just think it’s a little clunky that you can’t draw in the paths.

i’m at the beginning of switching from helix to QC. I picked up the meris mercX and GFI solis ventus to handle reverb and delay for me. i literally just wanted the big helix, but smaller and lighter to carry one board to church
@JustinMuncy13 сағат бұрын
Oh nice! I think having a helix plus pedals on a board would be pretty large wouldn’t it? Definitely bigger than any board I’ve had haha!! But if it feels portable to you, then why not? Unless you’re saying you used pedals with the QC. Then that would be pretty portable. I bet either sounds awesome!!

I have a Sire T7 and Sire T3 modded with Seymour Broadcaster pickups with the Helix LT. I got on my Helix LT the Z-Wreck and TK Imperial amps from Worship Tutorials and I think 3rd party captures really unlock this unit.

Cool!! Yeah, their stuff seems pretty solid! I’m one of those, “I gotta max out what I can make the internal stuff do first” kind of guys. That’s how I really learned the QC. I forced myself to make it work.

Helix floor is still my favorite unit. I didnt really care for the QC being so small it the touch screen. I really love scribble strips. I sold both and a just waiting to see if a new helix comes out with more DSP soon. L6 has changed there amp modeling and effects modeling. All the new amps and effects take up more DSP so you might be mad you got that LT because it’s about time for a new HelixX or something.
@JustinMuncy13 сағат бұрын
Interesting! I love the touchscreen and the size of the QC! It was pretty ideal for touring and the gigs I was doing when I got it. And that could be! I didn’t buy the Helix to replace my rig, so I wouldn’t be that upset. The LT was only a touch more in price than the stomp, so it’s a great value!
@schlagdog8 сағат бұрын
@ I don’t really like the small form factor and no scribble strips which I know is opposite of most people. Helix has a weird feel to the high gain amp models that ends up annoying me. I’ve owned 3 and in the end can’t deal with it. That being said I still have helix native and the new amp models and effects from the last year are a completely different type of modeling that are way more DSP heavy and way better sounding and a new one has to be made soon. Kemper can get away with nothing new forever but a modeling platform 10 years old outlived itself.

2048 IRs use the least DSP of all the cab models. Legacy Stereo Delay is pretty small too. Maybe that'll help squeeze another reverb in?
