Even tho he did not cheat. The feints he does are quute similar to canelo's one switching left hooks to the head for liver blows or just straight punches. In addition he first countered his opponent's jab in order to prevent him from throwing it. So yea, Takamura is not only strong but smart asf too.

Do you think its possible that Kamogawa could die before takamura finishes his conquest? we've been shown his health declining since Ippo's retirement, and while I'm doubtful that Takamura could ever lose, I think losing the coach+an injury could see him shifting gears to being Ippo's coach/second. They are brother disciples after all, their punches subconsciously reject anyone else holding the mitts for them
