I drive semi truck for FedEx, in Canada, I've been listening to the sermons on( the test) Ooooh WOW! I won't go into any details, how I praise God for you Pastor Morris, I Love how you explain piece by piece God's word! And explain God's word so a child can understand I'm in the bunk of the semi truck, I just woke up from a nap, I had a dream, this is all in going to say about it! Been listening to your sermons of Joseph....I had no idea I was going thru a test.. I just realized that even if the Bible said tithing is just 1% or 0.1%of one's income, some people will grumble and stll not return,i gave Tithe even when i didn't understand it,now that i understand it,no power from hell is stopping me.God made the universe without the my tithe,He didn't even need it before making man,He will never need it to sustain his words.the whole tithing benefits is mine and i am loving it.🎉

The new testament was upgraded to "giving". The store house was an actual place where people would get food. Churches don't do that anymore. How about keeping the Sabbath Day Holy? What happened there? NT has tithing in it once when Jesus said, he ought to tithe. He did not speak to us all, he spoke about one person

Your supposed to eat your tithes. Tithing was never about money. He needs to read numbers 18, Deutereronomy 12, 14, 26 ( chapters ), Malachi 3.6-12, and Matthew 23.23. All those verses are about food, not money. Tithing is not for believers today. It was fulfilled by Yahusha Messiah. If Tithing was to be repeated in the new testament, Paul, James, John, or Timothy would of wrote something about it. But there isn't any instructions in the new testament for Tithing. Tithing was part of the ceremonial law, and it goes hand in hand with animal sacrifices. What most pastors don't tell you is that your supposed to EAT your tithes, you can't eat money. In Deutereronomy, it talks about selling your tithe for money and take that money, and go to the place where Yahuah chooses for his name to abide. Which was not the church, but Jerusalem was, and when you got to Jerusalem you would spend that money on sheep, goats, cattle, and food. And you and your family would eat this tithe. Also the tithes were also given to the Levites, because they were given no land of their own, but their responsibility was to take care of the Tabernacle and do the sacrifices and offerings. Tithing is not binding on believers today, but we are to give generously to those in need with a cheerful heart. But nothing about tithing. Actually, tithing began before the law, Abraham gives a tenth of the spoils of war to Melchizedek, the priest of God. Tithing is for today. It’s all about trusting Jesus.

How about Cain and Abel’s offering? Abel gave of his “first fruits” but Cain didn’t so Cains offering wasn’t accepted. Of course their tithes were of the fruit of their land due to that being the bargaining chip ~like our money is today ❤

@scottadams2121 Yahusha fulfilled tithing for us on our behalf. He is our tithe and offering, that's why it's not repeated in the new testament. Matthew 23.23 is not a direct command from Yahusha to tell all believers throughout all generations that we need to tithe. He was clearly talking to the pharisees and religious leaders and criticizing them for their hypocrisy, and tells them yes you should tithe, why? Because they were still under the Law, Yahusha had not died yet to usher in the new covenant. When Yahusha died on the stake, the Temple was torn in two, and there was no more Temple. Scriptures says now that we are the Temple of Elohim. And those who belong to the Messiah have the holy spirit living in them. My whole point here is that we cannot do tithing today because most of us are not farmers or ranchers. We don't need to sacrifice animals and bring them to the temple and our crops to present them to the Levites. Yahusha fulfills tithing for us.
