Passive inheritance and active inheritance. A very good way of distinguishing the differences that scripture puts before us ! Thanks, GES

Great video Bob, I liked the addition of the conclusion at the end, very interesting point about the three elder sons who lost out on their inheritance. Thanks for posting!

Filial adoption, in making us partakers by grace in the divine nature, can bestow true merit on us as a result of God's gratuitous justice. This is our right by grace, the full right of love, making us "co-heirs" with Christ and worthing of obtaining the promised inheritance of eternal life.. The merits of our good works are gifts of the divine goodness. Gracce has gone before us; now we are given what is due, our merits are God's gifts.

Ephesians 2:8-9 alone refutes all Working for a Free Gift Theology that you're promoting . Little children can easily understand and believe in Him for what He actually Certifies (John 3:16 & Ephesians 2:8-9) , instantly having irrevocable Life at that moment . Cuz He cannot lie to the little ones , unencumbered by years of self righteous hardening against Grace . No better News , ever (John 1:12-13,3:1-18,4:1-39,5:24,6:28-47,11:23-27,20:31) .

@@timgrady4630 You still don't understand Ephesians 2:8-9. Why not read the whole chapter for context ?

@@2Chronicles714_ Yep , I've read through all of Ephesians...many times . Still ain't found your 5 Part Performance Contract till death to Earn Grace , or Merit the Free and Never Deserving Gift of Endless Everlasting Life . I guess one has to have Judaizer/unregenerate Scribes and Pharisees (Matthew 23) Glasses on to somehow "See" the Undeniable and Irrefutable inclusion of your Working for a Free Gift Theology in Ephesians 2:8-9 ?

How sure do you have to be of eternal security in jesus to be saved? What if someone believes in free grace but they are only 90% sure it's true or what if someone is only 20% sure it's true are they saved? Or what if the really want to believe it and they might say they believe it in their mind but deep down they aren't sure at all that it's true?

*Does a Person Have to Believe in Eternal Security to be Saved?* - Bob Wilkin & Philippe Sterling kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4Tcq3h8aNOrhaM Does one have to believe in eternal security to be saved? Does one need to know the theological term eternal security or the concept of eternal security in order to be saved? What does everlasting life mean? Bob Wilkin of the Grace Evangelical Society and Philippe Sterling of Vista Ridge Bible Fellowship answer these questions by looking at what does the Bible say and what did Jesus teach, that we must believe in order to be saved.

If you doubt your salvation you aren’t saved

@@allenbrininstool7558sort of, if you’ve never been sure you’re saved you’re not saved, if you’ve since lost your assurance you’re still saved.

We inherit all that belongs to Christ when we become His children by faith alone, period. We don’t inherit the Kingdom through works.

GES, can you recommend a good easy to understand daily devotional book for beginners? I looked on your site but didn’t see anything that was like that.
