Phil, Jase, and Al answer a listener question about racists and explain why there's no room for racism among Christians. Phil learns what "LOL" means and notices something disturbing about how Andrew Cuomo describes New Yorkers. Jase shares what he tells parents whose children have died. And Al talks about the great work Samaritan's Purse is doing.

Being retired law enforcement, many times people called me boss. It always bothered me when folks looked at me as their boss. I was told they had probably been in prison and that's why they called me boss. It was then that I began trying to share Christ especially with ones I arrested. Turned out to be some of the most responsive people I ever met. Thanks fellas.

The most segregated time of the week is Sunday Morning. I was born and raised in the South and it wasn’t until I was in the Army serving with Blacks that I found out we’re pretty much all the same. When someone has your back and your life depends on them their color no longer matters.🇺🇸

The real Christians can't help it if alot of churches have let themselves be corrupted by demonic powers. It can't be helped that some churches just happen to exist in a neighborhood that is mostly white or black or asian, etc. I have been to many churches where it was the most diverse place around. Not just in races in ethnicities, but cultural backgrounds, personalities, interests, ambitions, etc. So there are good churches out there that still reflect the way the church was immediately following Christ's death and ressurrection.

My grandpa lived most of his life without a relationship with Christ that we witnessed. I asked my grandpa on his death bed if he had Jesus in his heart and he said “You betchya”. After he passed, my Mom found a Bible given to him when he was a Child and it had notes from her about living a Godly life, so likely he heard and possibly accepted Christ at some early point in his life. I’m living with the same blessed hope that he is in Heaven with my Grandmother as well, as he confessed Jesus to me with his mouth. I wish I would have prayed with him tho.

waterop4 Well brother all you have to do to get to heaven is trust in the righteousness of Jesus Christ because we can never make it on our own we have to trust in HIS righteousness and put our faith in HIM that he is enough and he finished it all When you trust in death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ it’s like he puts a spotless white robe on you and when God the father looks on you he sees his son Jesus Christ. Read Paul’s writings brother. God bless you.

waterop4 Well that would be why we need Christ and need to rely on him in the first place because the more you try to keep the law the more you see you can’t so we trust in him and trust him to keep us Paul explains it well in Galatians but in the Old Testament when they couldn’t keep the law they used a lamb and we do the same now with the Lamb of God the Bible says we shouldn’t see sin but if we sin we have an advocate intercessor Jesus Christ

Everyone needs to read this book! I have made plans to re-gift this book to other members of my family and I’m passing it along this weekend. I just cannot express how thankful I am for the truths in this book, and the truth that y’all share every day. I also just started Duck Dynasty. Thank y’all so much for what you’re all doing! Free Thinker, Not in the absolute least bit. He is a speaker and advocate for the truth. The Bible is historically accurate and proven to be truth. Phil recognizes this and speaks boldly about it. And he does it because he loves people and does not want them to perish. And if you disregard the Bible as unreliable, you must also disregard all the literature of antiquity. Because the Bible has way more manuscripts, way more eyewitnesses, way more corroboration, and is entirely written way closer to the actually proposed events contained in it, compared to any other piece of literature. If you haven’t already, I strongly urge you to look more into this. My recommendation would be to start by reading the book, “More Than A Carpenter” by Josh McDowell. Phil, and people like him are simply people who understand the truth, and unapologetically speak about it. If that is offensive to you, that is on you, not them.

I have two daughters who have big hearts and give freely of their last dollars to the poor. I'm a little more skeptical because I've seen a lot of users. I give, but I watch who I give to. I ask my daughter one time how she would feel it she knew someone took her money and used it for drugs and alcohol. Without a second thought she said, "Well that's on them. I've done what I'm supposed to do." I'd never thought of giving like that. You are to give and then let it go. What they do with it is on them. So the daughter taught the mother this time. Thanks for addressing this and validating what she said.

I mean in terms of morality, this is true. But reasonably, this is still a reckless practice. You become an enabler in instances where you help fuel an addiction and by no means is that moral. If you want to actually guarantee that your money is going to a good cause for the poor you should give to your local kitchens. A good method I've come up with to discern if I'm wasting money or am actually helping someone who needs it, I ask if I can go with him or her to buy something to eat. If they just want booze money they walk away.

Bible says to give essentially with zero expectations on return. To me, that return includes satisfying me with it's use. I generally just don't give much money. I give money when there is a money problem, but when there is a food problem I give food. When there is a car peoblem I give of my time and skill.

Debra, if they hated and killed our Master, wouldn't they do the same with His followers? Jesus himself said he came to bring sword, not peace to the Earth. Not that he will cause it, but other people would bring it upon His followers. Paul also said that those who wanted to live justly, will suffer persecution. You are right, you are blessed because you live in Jesus.

I'm learning that negative speech gets us no where. When you mentioned Cuomo it stirred me to the opposite (which you spoke on too)... This came up when I Googled Speak life scripture: I am going to BELIEVE from this day forward that everything I want to happen in my life IS GOING TO HAPPEN. I will believe it for me and my family. I will make it a habit to consciously speak LIFE, watch my words at all times and believe in God & what He has for me shall come to pass.

Couple of observations… Regarding the people in New York City who were upset with Franklin Graham and Samaritans purse just remember when Jesus cast out the legion of demons in the Man from the tombs in Gesrene. They were upset because the Legion was given permission to flee to the pigs that went over a cliff,; which should also let us know that Jesus’ eternal concern is not for animals but for humankind, made in his image. Every grown man has lost a loved one in this life. The key is to learn to love them while you have them so that your regrets are few and far between. A close relationship with and trust in the Lord is the best foundation for leading that life, but God can even heal your heart you didn't get to know him before tragedy strikes. Trust is the key.

The loved One should be Jesus. Once you come to love Him, you'll come to know His love for you, and that he also loves your loved ones more than you.. To be absent of your body is to be present with the Lord. Once you realize that your loved ones are present with the Lord, you should be comforted. Don't selfishly wish for them back into this world for your sake, after they already arrived at their eternal destination.. Stay focused on Jesus and having a loving relationship with Him, and you'll be okay.

My own Son....is of a mix race, he's almost 25 & moved back home last year. I was raised in the Catholic church but I left the church when I was a younger adult than he is. However, I'm a CHRISTIAN ✝️!! There's no doubt about it! However, he's not really a Christian! I'm shocked but mostly I have no idea how to change his beliefs except through prayer 🙏! He's read The Bible & explored many other religions. He seems to appear to lean towards Buddhism ☸! IF THERE'S ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP HIM...PLEASE TELL ME!!! LOVE Y'ALL 💗!! GOD BLESS ❤

I have no great words to help your son, keep praying for him. From what i have seen is people run away from God because, they do not want to admit they are sinners. People dislike having to repent and comfess they are sinners. I see and hear it all the time that is the one thing that stops them from walking with Jesus as lord of there life. No other religion requires you to do that, that's what false teaching is all about.

Thank you Bro. Phil, Al & Jase for speaking on Racism. The truth will set you free. God Does Not see Color. Our flesh is our earth suit in which our spirit live in on earth. We are One Race, the Human Race. Our family on my Dad side is multi cultural. The Lord put on my heart many years ago to bring my Caucasian relatives together with my African American relatives (People of Color). Some have accepted and some have not. No Hatred will enter the Kingdom of God. I made a comment to a relative that I wanted to come to Monroe to meet your family, because my dad was from Louisiana. Raised off Lake Bistineau. He moved to Califonia in the 40's. He never lost his Louisiana roots of being a Hunter and a Fisherman. Bro. Phil remind me of my Dad. Back to my relative when I said I would come to Monroe to visit your Duck Commander or your church. I was told that I would not be accepted. I was happy when your church was interracial. This is the Real Church. There is no segregation in the Kingdom of God. Segregation is Man Made, not God Made.❤

Amen brothers, just my two cents to add. When it comes to race remember Genesis 11:8-9, God scattered us because we thought the world was about us. It is not, read John 1:3....It's all about Him not us. We are to become like Him. He doesn't need us, He WANTS us. He wasn't alone either. look at Genesis 1:26. God said "let US make man in OUR image. Jesus & The Holy Spirit were there. AMEN?

I myself live outside of buffalo and listen and hear Cuomo's talk. Some good and some bad but never is it uplifting in a way that inspires hope threw out this state. Maybe if more god was back in government then politicians could deliver more meaningful speeches. At least we have Jesus and the grace of god to inspire us all .

I have been assisted by Samaritans Purse after Katrina. They are a good organization and I don't think this should reflect on the group but I had a very bad experience with them. We lost everything in that awful storm as we lived in Biloxi, MS right on the water. My family received assistance from this group to help with cleanup. They came when I wasn't at the house, even though I requested to be there with them in writing, and gutted my house and destroyed the few things we did have left in the top of closets and such. Home movies, Christmas decorations, family heirlooms, they threw everything into a big pile on the curb and the pile was as high as the roof of the house. They pulled my brand new wall oven out of the wall and it had no damage and wasn't touched by any storm surge. They chunked it on the curb and smashed it with a bobcat. The whole experience was awful and it was like pouring salt in a wound. To top that off, one of the workers took a set of drums home with him! We got them back but that didn't speak well for the group in my opinion. These people were helping under the name of God but what we experienced was not Godly behavior at all. It was like losing everything all over again. I have tried to forgive and let this go but I have had a real hard time of it. I do hope nobody else had to go through this with the organization. Over a year after the fact an older couple came to our home on behalf of the organization to follow up with us. We took the opportunity to inform them of all the wrong things that happened starting with someone going into our home when we were not home. We just wanted to make sure nobody else had to go through this. I hope I will be able to let this go and forgive because I know that is the proper Christian attitude.
