I'm not siding with either one (just don't feel the need to take sides), however, if I was Brad, I would pay whatever (since he's got a lot of money) to move on and not fight AJ. AJ feels Brad owes her and if I was Brad with all that money, I would pay to keep the peace and so I can move on with my life and focus on my career, business ventures, and rebuilding. He should just be the bigger person and hopefully, with time, his kids will come around and see things for what they are and mend their relationship.

I mean AJ wrote him a letter letting him know that she wanted to sell her shares of the winery, and he should have bought it from her at the time... If I was Brad with all that money, I would just pay so that I have peace of mind and be able to move on with my life.. and be the bigger person (even if not entirely at fault). I would want to free myself from all this burden, torture, etc.. and hopefully, with time, kids will come around as they grow older and bonds can be repaired. Him fighting and not letting go... is just not going to lead anywhere. Brad Pitt had to admit in court that it was the judge and the therapists who determined how and when he would see his children and with supervision, nothing was imposed by Angelina. Parental Alienation has always been the first excuse for abusive fathers against mothers.

However, if you look at the information in the court documents, AJ sent Brad a very detailed letter a year prior letting him know that she wanted to remove herself from the winery business (and connections with him) and wanted to sell the shares. Brad should have bought the shares at the time and he didn't (He wasn't thinking...) He just ignored her letter. She grew tired of him, the divorce and wanted out of any connection with him, and the Russian company paid her a lot of money for the shares $67mil and she ran it by the courts before selling.
