Why say "the jury believed"? It's not anything about their beliefs. The jury found that the evidence and the law showed that he was guilty of the 34 felonies that he was charge with. The evidence presented in a court of law was adjudged to show guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

For the male reporter to claim that the jury verdict was quick, that was an extremely ludicrous statement. He was basing his erroneous opinion on the fact that there were 34 charges. What he failed to consider and explain, is that many of the charges were linked (For example, each check was a separate charge). So there really were 3 or 4 linked threads of factual evidence. The evidence was clear. All that was needed was the explanation regarding the evidence, and that came from corroborating statements of the witnesses on the stand.
