Kyrie is definitely being doubled.Just like you said but I don't think it's fair to say that nick is not noticing that he literally says around the fourteen minute mark that this could be the game where the thunder defense breaks down allowing kyrie to go off. It sounds to me like he and everyone else.Recognizes the doubles and the open wings that you're recognizing.But sometimes we hear what we want to hear when listening to these podcasts.

They start out double Luka every time early, they wear him down a little, let's others jack up 3 ball then start doubling Irving. Problem is Williams is doing such a good job on Irving they don't need to double him.

It's why your 3rd thur 6th players have to give you something since doubling Luka and Irving draw so much attention. Irving has too be more aggressive and gain some confidence back. He's giving up and missing short shots that we gotta have him make.

Especially if Minnesota beats Denver. After watching Luka get beat up against the Clippers and the mud wrestling match with Dort every night, I really don’t know how much more abuse his body can take and Minnesota is as bad or worse. Denver is the better team but Dallas would have a better shot and beating them because they like to play fair and clean which would give Maverick stars a chance to shine.

What it separates these two teams for me are our bigs. If Shai nullifies Luka and Jaylen Williams (give a man credit) nullifies Kyrie, Mavs two bigs outplay Holmgren. If they give you 20 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks for example, we have 3rd Allstars player in our bigs.

I believe in all the guys on this team being bought in, and giving it their all when their numbers called to play. Shoot that’s what professionals do, coach Kidd got them ready at practice and they put that work In while we just sit here and watch the games and critique. And yes he deserves a lot of it but I do still notice The effort is there with Thj, so i won’t bash him like every one else does.

OKC is sending everybody when Kyrie drives, so he dishes it out. Its the right basketball play. But it hasnt worked overall for OKC, as Dallss 8s up 3-2. I love what Kidd is doing with his rotations, especially last game. My only fault is not seeing Exum was a waste of space sooner than later. He stole valuable playing time through the season that could have been used for preparing Hardy for this moment. Either way here we are, and Hardy has to prove himself, cuz Exum has been a turdpopsicle and a 1/2 throughout the playoffs so far, its so bad that he makes THJ look like Michael Jordan out there.

What are you talking about? Exum played a great reg season and won us several games. Not to mention he is by leaps and bounds a better defender then Hardy. If Hardy isnt scoring efficiently, he is a waste of space so far. Exum is in a shooting slump, so it was the right decision to test Hardy... but 1/5 isnt cutting it either. So I would go back to Exum.

Nick, of course you don't know what you're watching. Just like the Nuggets thought the series was over at 3-2. This generation plays when it HAS to play. OKC Thunder were as casual as you could be in going 10-40 from. Why? They didn't have to win that game. What happens if we get a repeat of game 4 with another free throw shooting contest at the end? Magnets? How would you feel at the big: This was always a seven game series, with OKC keeping a lid on Kyrie in game 7?
