I like the explanation and logic around changing the sacrifice mechanics in the adventure. Kind wish I could roll back the clock now.

I am currently running this campaign on Roll20 and I definitely enjoy Eventyr's content (Utube, DMG and such). I'm using his recommendations and am looking forward to seeing how the campaign develops. Much appreciated !

Regarding proposed change to Auril's motive: How would she gain worshipers by destroying Ten Towns ... isn't that counterproductive? By destroy, do you mean bring the people to their knees to worship her, i.e they realize her power, have nowhere else to turn, etc.

Yeah, exactly what you're saying! Destroying Ten-Towns doesn't have to mean slaughtering all the inhabitants, but if she can get rid of half them and make life difficult for whoever's left, then they're more likely to turn to her to survive.

Thank you for an excellent explanation of the over all storylines and background. I know you said you would address foreshadowing in a later video but I’m hoping you’ll give me a sneak peak here. You suggest that one of Auril’s motivations is to prevent the Arcane Brotherhood from finding Ythryn. How do you suggest foreshadowing that to the players in chapter one?

Thank you so much! I'll have the video out reasonably soon (this week, I hope), but as a sneak peek, one way to do it is to leave a not-yet-sent message with Durth in Easthaven. The message, which is addressed to Yselm (a frost druid briefly described in Chapter 2), details how Dzaan "isn't an issue anymore" after he was burned at the stake - perhaps even hinting that it was the duergar and/or the druids who helped bring the wizard to justice and stop his search for Ythryn!
