I'm only 2 minutes in, but the day a stylist told me I NEEDED a relaxer was the last time I sat in her chair. I've been relaxer free for like 10 years and love it. Don't let nobody tell you that you HAVE to put a chemical in your hair. 🙄

It's so sad how it seems many hairstylist within these days are not about growing our hair & doing damage control with our hair, but they seem to be more about styles(especially crazy styles) & whatever's quicker & easier, such as relaxers versus wash & press. Beauty salons don't seem to be the same, anymore.

The case wasnt about license. The case was about her damages. Her case was proven in my opinion. JM let her rattle him. The ruling should have been in her favor.

It's totally possible to get your hair washed and styled WITHOUT having to get a relaxer. Natural hair girlies get blow outs all the time without having to use a chemical straighter. He doesn't know how to take care of natural hair

I have worked in an salon of BOOK FOLLOWING DISCIPLINE. I started out being a chemical tech having to apply base properly. She did not base and put the towel there properly. If she shampooed her her her scalp would have been irritated, not just her neck.

Hold up Judge Mathis! Now you know that was not right. Judge Mathis doesn’t listen. Here’s another case where he won’t let someone talk and he keeps cutting them off. Maybe there’s something he was missing and he just would have let her speak. The case was not about the license, but she called and the license doesn’t last that long she called and they gave her confirmation that his license wasn’t valid at the time however he didn’t wanna listen and let her explain why that is. The defendant was wrong. Judge Mathis got it wrong in this case.

Judge Mathiiiisss!! Although I enjoy watching his show, she's not trying to say or prove he's not intelligent, she's simply trying to prove her case, as much as possible. It's not that deep, Judge Mathis. He seems to judge emotionally rather than lawfully quite often. He seems a bit anxious/paranoid sometimes, and quite oten, he seems to feel that people are challenging his intelligence. Just my opinion, though.
