Andre-Pierre Gignac has been my favorite football player since he arrived to Mexico. When he left Marseille from Ligue 1 in the 14/15 season he was 2nd top scorer under Lacazette and above Zlatan and Cavani. I knew he was going to kick ass in Mexico. I thought like most he just came over for a pay check but I was wrong. He embraced the Mexican culture and it's people. He earned even more respect from me and the people. He's fun to watch on the pitch and entertaining to watch on interviews. I truly believe that if he was in the starting line up of the 2016 Euros, France would have won. No doubt in my mind! People say "oh i remember he missed". He did MORE in 10mins than what olivier giroud and the whole team couldn't do in 80mins. Gignac THANKS for all you've done in La Liga MX and in Mexico! Much love and respect!

As someone who lives in Monterrey and supports Tigres, Gignac has been the best thing to happen to the club! We've gone so far thanks to him, won many finals, reached the Libertadores and Clubs World Cup final (which we both lost unfortunately but damn it's still a lot to be able to be in the finals of those cups!). He literally made history and has created a legacy that will last forever, he is officially the best player Tigres has had with the most goals, and many perhaps may not agree with me but he is definitely the best player in the Mexican league.
