They didn't know the pain of using her competitively with Turg Timing, Stig Swapping, and generally long field time. We don't hate Eden because she's a poorly written character (she's Elysia's 'best friend' after all how can we hate her for that), but it's just annoying to play against. I have SSS Eden and I feel the same, playing her is just tiring and it's literally the main reason I pull Eepy Teri.

Why the hate I love Eden 😭

One is her versatility in non-Aponia's teams, the Valk that was released before her was Pardo, and generally Pardo has a better versatility compare to Eden. Second, she's not a full support, she's actually a DPS that can support as this is proven by her main Stigmata Handel, this actually caused problem for HoT Teams or other teams that uses Handel as their main DPS Stigmata, which either forces the DPS to use Zhenyi TB Handel M (Handel M can stack, Zhenyi is Fischl's stigs and Zhenyi TB can still stack so both DPS and Fischl can use it) or forces Eden to use Turgenev TB Tesla/Mei Beach M. The third, she doesn't have a PRI ARM when she was first released, meaning you have to rely on Turgenev timing, this is really frustrating as Lightning Abyss has so many mobs, even the PRI ARM doesn't help that much as Lightning content usually have mobs. And finally, her field time is awfully long with no good buffs like Pardo's ULT CD Reduction, Griseo's Bleed Stacks, Kira's and also Jedi Griseo's ULT Time Stop, Ai's constant Ignite debuffs and immediate SP Regen, and Prometheus' Shieldbreak Abilities/Stun Trauma/good damage. Eden is also the only SP Valk that can't be played outside of Lightning Teams, all the other Valks can be played outside their respective teams (especially Kira which is a mini HoTr) that to the point using them might be better overall.
