You may not be, but I am here to pass judgement. Intentional or not, you need to pay your staff and not lord their payment over their head to promote further events. Planning for 2024 is NOT a solution to getting judges paid. Telling judges you can't pay them but that if they help secure 2024 event it will help with payment being put forth is NOT okay. Whether it was malicious and intentional OR something said in a moment of stress, it is NOT acceptable. I have no idea what it must feel like to be under the stress of a failing business without funds to deliver on promises. But that is a risk you take with a business and MAS should know better. Also, with the supposed amount he received from vendor booths, the FIRST thing that should have been done was paying employees. This is so pathetic.
