What The Heck Is Love, Really?

Love is like an extreme form of openmindedness. Your mind/consciousness is so abnormally open that reality itself becomes less material and more fluid - similar to being on mushrooms. This kind of openness correlates with high creativity because a lot more novel ideas are floating into your field of consciousness. But your mind is so open that these ideas literally start to morph your material world. Love could start talking to you and giving you novel ideas. The trade-off is that your mind is less buttoned-up, so it literally starts to feel like you're going insane. How would you react if all the sudden Love started to talk to you? Would you be open to listening, or would you freak out and run to the doctor to put yourself on meds to suppress it? Most people would freak out because they don't have a proper context for it. Under the materialist paradigm the only context is that you're going insane. But if you understand how consciousness works then there's really nothing wrong about it, you just have an extra-open mind.

This is incorrect. This is simply a description of more of the infinite ways the illusion of separate self can perpetuate. Love is the feeling of non-dual consciousness, where there is no trace of self, of mind, of enlightenment. There is no mind to be abnormally open. Love does not talk to you, there is no you to which love may talk. Just let go, radically, when you realise, it is unmistakable, in fact it will be the first thing you have ever known beyond doubt.

@@rememberingme983 Throw away your stupid simplistic naive ideas of what a hallucination is. I'm talking about a robust deeply sophisticated notion of hallucination. Hallucinations that are so real you cannot distinguish them from reality. Hallucinations that are so mesmerizing that... Imagine that you started imagining that you were a kangaroo and you just sat there day after day after day imagining that you were a kangaroo and you imagined it so much that you literally became a kangaroo and you could not remember anymore that you were ever a human. That's the kind of power of imagination that I'm talking about. See so the irony of people who criticize pooping is that they themselves are doing it from a state of hallucination but they're so ignorant and oblivious and lacking in self reflection that they don't understand that what they're doing is you're criticizing pooping from a state of hallucination and delusion.

Love is taking or seeing something as part of oneself, so much so that you want what is truly best for them (not what your ego thinks is best for them) as much as you’d want what’s best for yourself. If not that, I would still break it down and say unconditional acceptance.

I could hear a plane taking off kind of sound. Like a *mmmmmmm* *aaaaaaaaa* You hear this really intense just like *wuuuu* Like this really like almost like a siren. man I got the whole *wuuu* the *gnn~oo* Also very loud, it was like *hooow* As if the sound slow down. And I heard this *zuuu* And I heard huh like a *zuuu* and it was getting louder and louder until it kind of just *pshhh* and then *prshhh* This is just like *boom boom* just like you're leaping into this fucking realm. it was like "what? what the fuck" I do remember looking at them thinking"what the fuck..." "what the fuck?" And like when I tried to work them out that was it, it just went and then something else would be there like doing that *tututututu* it's fucking crazy! insane, insane, it's insane. I didn't even think it was possible. This is impossible. Insane, fucking insane. And when I started like becoming more conscious I started telling everyone you guys... you guys you GUYS wow wow That seems like this all-the only thing that keeps going to your head is just wow WOW! like "this is so fucking amazing!" like "how is this even possible?!". That's wow. That was wow! WOW factor and I'm gonna be going WOW! probably every day, every single day when I think about that I'm just gonna go "wow" when you come back to real world you're like "holy fuck". What the fuck was that! What the fuck! And the feeling of "I have been here before" "I have done this before, everything is gonna be okay cause I have experienced this before". The whole thing it just feels like a massive fucking déjà vu.

Love is a bs vague concept the spirituality hits you over the head with for decades...and the spiritual karens hold you responsible to even though it literally means nothing. It doesn't say anything about your behaviour...it doesn't say anything about a specific experience. If love is not human, what possible use could it have for us? It's just another humanly defined concept........which we have different defitnitions for. It's taken stepping back from Bentinho teachings to see how detached his perspective is though. I know many would frame that as positive....but it's really not. We gotta "do human"...and do it well. We are being evaluated by our higher selves...on pretty specific metrics. Just discourse on THAT if you really want to serve.

Love is very helpful in being human. My relationship with love did not come out of any concept of "spirituality"... It's what I am and through certain triggers allowed myself to feel it. It's what compells you to feed yourself, to defend yourself, to entertain yourself, even to lash out in hate at someone. It's all because you care enough about yourself to do something that might make you feel better, that you do anything at all. I'm not sure exactly what you believe or if I understand what you're getting at... but whatever reaction you have to this message is just another confirmation of love. To care at all, to want to respond and defend your position, implies you have a self you feel is worth defending, worth defining, worth expressing. Even if someone looks around and hates every single person... that's only because they love themselves enough to even bother expressing hate. Behind it they are shouting to the Universe, "I don't like this. Bring me something different. Take me somewhere else. I want better! And you didn't hear me when I asked nicely!!!" -- all to (lovingly) serve their unmet needs. If they don't even have the passion left to hate... just apathy... it's because they love themselves too much to keep fighting. They just want to let go, but are still clinging to resentment... to honor and love their feelings of hurt.

I'm sure most spiritual teachers (as conflicted as they are in their messaging) don't mean all those things you described. It's getting irritating now. My patience for the BS talk in spirituality is very low. Never imagined I'd live in a time where everyone claiming to be spiritual was so full of sh*t. It's like everyone is a schizoid, each in their own bubble, riffing on subjectivity........as if actually making sense and creating a sense of objectivity in our communication meant nothing.

I 'thought' I had much in common with a big chunk of starseeds incarnated today, but the resistance to applying discernment to many spiritually-held prespectives, and most of all to spiritual accountability and taking responsability for the information put out and how it affects people..............is huge. The idea of a higher self with a definite intention for our life, that may in fact agree more with what creates "easy" "alignment" ....rather than what I individually see as inconsistencies and incongruencies and great injustices in this cosmic.............is even harder to negotiate (and all the master and light aliens etc).
