Cooper is very streaky. He had 6 games of less than 50 yards last season, 3 of which were less than 25 yards. He also had 6 of more than 100 yards, one of which was 265 yards.

Some of these comments crack me up. Cooper is a legitament baller that's been doing this for a while now. If he's in a slump so be it. Give the man some cred beyond game 2 for crying out loud. He will no doubt make many great plays for us this season.

My guess is Cooper isnt in shape and probably has some injury he's dealing with. Judging by his lack of separation, he might still be lingering from his foot last year. Either way I wouldnt panic. If were going into week 5 and he's still this bad then you know he's cooked. Nobody on a contract year is going out there hurt and putting out bad film to cost themselves millions for the betterment of the team. I think he's not in game shape. Missed all those reps at camp. And because ppl are making a big deal of it, watch him have a legacy game week 3.

People need to remember years ago (back when Amari and Michel Crabtree were Raiders) one year they were both among the best catch percentage WRs in the league...they both also had a year as Raiders when they were amongst the leaders in drops...so it does happen....also look at last years stats...Both Jerome Ford and Njoku were top top 10 in the league for dropped passes...Cooper was in the top 25 (obviously they had poor QB play, that can scew the results...also volume of passes can do the same as well)

He needed to be playing in pre season, he said so himself. Just give him time. The whole team is trying to prove to everyone that everyone is getting along. I don't believe that.

The preseason doesn’t matter anymore??? From an athlete’s standpoint you need the reps to get into a groove…. Look for Cooper to have a huge game Sunday.
