Recent research suggests that excess use of the internet over prolonged periods of time may negatively affect some cognitive functions, particularly attention and short-term memory.

Thank you for being so Genuine and Honest. You could have said to watch informative videos like this one but you clearly said to avoid internet which makes your videos even more special.

I had other tabs open/doing other things & within 20 seconds of this video I shut everything else down & actually watched the video. Also had other videos ready to watch after this but now this will be my last for a few hours. Great stuff! Thanks for taking the time to put a video like this together

I got to be honest with you here... I did not finish watching the video. I will shut down my pc after sending this comment and meditate and/or read a book. so thanks I guess ;) Seriously though, I just stumbled upon your channel and I am really grateful that I did. It is odd to me that most of your videos barely have any views. Even better to see that you are still producing new and great content. You definitely have at least one new supporter of your work. I am currently considering to start creating similar youtube videos and it is kind of refreshing to see this high-quality content without millions of subscribers. It shows another side, humbles, and takes away expectations and pressure. (not that I wouldn't wish that upon you). Blessings

The irony in this video and (all self development content creators) for that matter is respectful. If your video view count goes down or subscriber momentum slows, It could be from people taking your advice and quitting the internet...

Dear Inerize , once I thought I’d live without a smart phone too ?But then I realised it’s not quite possible ? Nowadays we almost need it for everything , information , banking , paying bills , etc.! And I always thought I’d learn a lot from KZbin ? That’s actually how we know you ! What should we do ? 🙏🏻

Endless threat and hype and urgency and crisis are always found online. But they aren't so imperative when you live offline. The real world where real people exist and real things happen.

This is so true man , I really have felt the effects of using too much social media Also I had a doubt Does playing video games (eg minecraft)have the same effect like using social media (in a negative sense)??

@@Inerize But don't we need to have a lot of focus while playing games ?🤔

I think the constant stimuli can make the brain addictive to it. It's an environment that's always changing. Anyways, everything is healthy if we don't abuse it 😅. I'll keep playing because it's just fun.
@Immanuel_jijo4 жыл бұрын
@@Inerize Yea that's true But I think it also depends on the type of game you're playing A game like Tetris doesn't give constant stimuli (lol I maybe wrong) Whereas shooters and similar games do give a lot of stimuli Anyways as you said everything is fine if it's in a limit :D

You could do it the old fashioned way for a lot less. Buy the book. Study it well. Use a blank page notebook to record the changes in your focus, perception, awareness etc, both within you and your environment. Drawings, short notes, long thoughts, photos, found objects whatever works for you is the right way. Date each entry or just the period taken to fill it.
