24:00 About Sylas. We know that in Form of dread the warlock takes somewhat of appearance of their patron. Laudna has a black veil which usually symbolises mourning. Delilah is still mourning Sylas and that's a bit heartbreaking but c'mon girl just meet your husband in the afterlife if he's even there idk how vampires work.

The interesting thing to me in how they’re handling Keyleth is that I don’t feel like she’s just being treated like a normal npc. I was thinking about it and I think some of that is the DM usually balances the power of npcs the party meets with their willingness to help, but because Keyleth was a pc for so long it’s hard to make her unwilling to get involved with the party. I loved y’all’s point about how she might deal with Delilah’s entanglement though, since that would give Orym a reason to be unwilling to bring Keyleth in completely. I think if he’s heard conversations about the Briarwoods amongst VM, he could guess that they could just as easily be a threat to his friend as a help and could likely get the others on board with keeping her direct involvement as a last resort for Laudna’s safety.
@bradleyhurley67552 жыл бұрын
At the moment there isn't really anything for Keyleth to do specifically. Orym just determined who a major bad guy is, but without explicit knowledge of where the bad guy is, there isn't any reason for Keyleth to get involved. (Also since everyone believes she was the target of the assassination attempt, it wouldn't make sense for her to just leave. I do think most of Vox Machina are likely to not help Laudna given her ties to Delilah. I almost don't see Laudna staying dead and I don't see Delilah taking over her body (recycled stories are never fun). I think if it was later in the campaign and Laudna had already dealt with Delilah, then she would probably be dead, but I think at the moment there is going to be some way she is going to return.

I think if could be a discussion between Marisha and Matt on what Keyleth would interpret out of the situation. Im still on the fence of Keyleth wont ressurect Laudna

I think FCGs vision was in Aeor when the Aeormatons got their independence or became full citizen of Aeor, The old Guy was his old master who did not like that the Aeormatons is free. The lady is where FCG ended up, either FCG killed her or something else happend but the lady died. What if Chet killed his family? He said they all left but what if the first time he became a werewolf he went and killed them.

It is interesting to point out that everyone apart from Imogen had a vision of a past event...so would this infer that Imogen's vision is also from a past event or was she perhaps the only one to have a vision of a future event?

I really think Keyleth will be at least conflicted about helping Laudna. Sure, the connection to Delilah is worrisome but we can't forget that Laudna was one of the bodies on the Sun Tree. This fucked with Keyleth specifically in a major way. And I got the feeling that at the end VM saw the Briarwoods more as a nuisance than anything else. Not to say they don't see them as a threat.
@AdamEspersona2 жыл бұрын
Also, if they were to refuse to save Laudna just because of Delilah and thus they were content with just leaving her dead… I would not put it past Orym or Imogen to lash out and say, “Then you’re no different from the Briarwoods. This girl died because of you. Make it right.”

So I know that fcg when he's damaged he needs to eat metal because the metal that he consumed becomes a part of him. My question or rather thought is, if he were to eat a ton Platinum or some magical ore... would he be an automaton with platinum armor or would he grow inside?

It would actually be amazing if Matt and Marisha sit down and talk and come to terms with "if it makes sense for Keyleth to bring Laudna back then bring her back... but if Keyleth learns that Lady D is inside Laudna's head... what would Keyleth logically do?" And I think it would be INSANE for Marisha to not only refuse to revive her own character... but in that moment actually like obliterates laudna's body to make sure Lady D doesnt come back. T
@AdamEspersona2 жыл бұрын
Also, by being cold about Laudna’s fate, wouldn’t VM end up being just as uncaring as the Briarwoods in Bells Hells’ eyes? After all, Laudna died because of them, to be treated as an example. This is VM’s chance to make it right.

"Vampiric or something" hehe Imagine Luadna reviving not as a Hallow one but an Dampire who now has to feed on life or souls for herself and secretly Delilah.
@theanyktos2 жыл бұрын
I agree it's unlikely, but I really want to see Marisha play Keyleth again, just for a bit. Just until she revives Laudna. And then maybe Laudna needs to sleep a day or so, and that way they can get Keyleth out before Laudna comes back. Or, yk, Sam forces Marisha to have a conversation with herself, like they made him talk to Tary as Scanlan.

For Keyleth to ressurect Laudna they'd need to come up with 25000 gp.
@theanyktos2 жыл бұрын
@@dtelegdi Not necessarily. They have Laudna's body, they don't need True Resurrection. And FCG can continue to cast Gentle Repose on her every day, so not even the 10 day time limit on Raise Dead is an issue. That way they only need a 500 gp diamond.

@GammaAlanna2 жыл бұрын
Yep I forgot about that one when we were taking about it. Might suit Laudnas situation better than a resurrection spell!
@bradleyhurley67552 жыл бұрын
@@GammaAlanna Laudna is an interesting case, as she has technically been dead for far longer than 10 days...at least 20 years of death. Laudna, if she is a Hollowed One, doesn't exactly have a soul. She is an undead creature. This means in theory that a resurrection spell would resurrect the Laudna that died 20 years ago in Whitestone without the memories of the one that met Imogen and the reincarnate spell should fail automatically as Laudna's soul has been gone longer than 10 days from her body (20+ years).
@bradleyhurley67552 жыл бұрын
With that said, the actual book doesn't explain how that process would work. So its going to be interesting how Matt handles that situation. Since I don't believe it has been explicitly stated that she is a Hollowed One, there is definitely room to allow either outcome.
