I'm an older guy, and I play 2K because I love basketball. I don't play the online games, because most people are not playing like it's a basketball game. It's impossible for me to do what you done in 11 days. The same reason why I don't play Call of Duty Online. I have been to war and that's not how you fight a battle. I only do the campaigns. The reason why I play video games is to relax and keep my mind strong, but online play with you'll frustrates me. These games was designed to be realistic, but online with others take it away.

I ended up playing in a 3vs3 game where one of the players on my team was a streamer and he just whined constantly whenever he didn't get passed the ball - most of the time he wasn't open for a pass because the opposition players knew how to play D and were blocking the passing lane to him when he stayed wide for an open 3 shot - and he stopped playing / put the controller down and was saying everyone sucks, even though the game was still in a position where we could win (we were only down 4 pts at this stage) so I started trying to pass him the ball more than I already was and he just got more and more whiny saying he's not playing and doesn't want to waste his XP boosts 😆 Now, this streamer guy had a 99 over-all and for perspective he couldn't even shoot open jumpers when we DID get the ball to him for a 3...I checked his stream afterwards and he was raging in another game and shouting at his new team-mates in the very next match...when those players gave him the ball he shot up wide-open jumpers and missed nearly every shot. I don't think I saw him actually hit a good release on his shot in any of his games before he ended his stream in a rage. I like to play a screening / slashing shot creator role, so I probe defences and play off of my own screens or screens other players make for me and if I can't get a good opening for a shot I will pass to the best / safest option I can see. This guy was just playing like an entitled kid at the court who was trying to take his ball home with him by putting down his controller mid-game when he didn't get passed the ball for the second play in a row - problem was, he's in his 30s and acting like this over a game on the CASUAL COURTS! 🤦‍♂

​@Law-so4mz Yup! I been spotting all they shit for years, I've been a 2K player the entire existence legit had the 1st one on dreamcast when A.I. was on the 1st 3-4 covers. I always played Hof 12min quarters and easily built up vc because of the 2x difficulty. They had took out getting double VC for like 3 games which meant no reward for playing on higher difficulty. You only got 2x when you reached 95 overall which obviously is a while! They did that to make the grind even harder and make you buy vc instead. They finally changed it back, they even used to have accessories FREE!!!. Now it's 1500 minimum for regular azz sleeves and headbands smh.

Do this for 3 seasons straight it only takes about 30 minutes in total to foul out of key games every season. You’ll receive your 20K vc after 3rd game in FIBA tournament.

Also for the badge elevators they’re trash. All they do is increase your progress. So say you’re at a bronze it’ll make it a gold. It doesn’t increase the cap. So if you put your set shot to max at gold it won’t make it a legend badge unless you already have it capped for that

So awesome man. I actually have some questions. My favourites were 2k11 where I got into offline Association. And 2k 14. Just for the gameplay and I did some my career with badges. Offline too. So I played 2k 24 for a bit- some similar quests and progression. I did buy some VC and the hall of fame pass I think, but didn’t really figure out how to use it properly. I even thought I bought some Gatorade boosts but could never see how yo equip them in my career. So the grinding is what I would prefer too. I might still spend a bit, but avoid the seasons pass rewards in 2k 25. Did you ever play Association mode? Or take your MyPlayer into a dynasty- or whatever you can do? Or into a different era? But great video. Very helpful. I didn’t really understand the badges and how to upgrade them. And the quests that you didn’t have to do because your badges were already upgraded. Oh and the whole rebirth thing. I have no idea what that is, Do you have to stick your one workout in your gym- is it even possible to do x amount of different workouts over x amount of time? Is it all Supposed to be completed in your practice facility? Or at home? I do understand the time to recharge the workouts of course.

So, I am done with the first season and I am in the playoffs. During the season you will get to pick two personal goals and when you complete them you get badges for your team, not for your my player (remember this). You cannot change your goal, but you will get to pick another once you finish it. Also, to make your teammates score more, make sure you get that chemistry meter in the 90's. You cannot run and gun, then think you can past to your team for them to score. Also I did top scorer personal goal, during these games I was matched to their best scorer. So I am a SG, but they will switch my position to the person with the highest PPG for that game. Also make sure if you talk smack you can win the game, that player you talked smack too will be hot the next game if you lose. Also if you playing on next gen, the shoot around before the game is for your takeover meter. Just some tips, I am playing on superstar right now with an 87. Once I make it to 95 it time for HOF

It’s the workout warrior badge now. You have to do all 12 workouts for your build. Once you do so you will unlock the permanent additional turbo meter & all body types for all of your builds 🔥

honestly blowsmy mind people still play this game, It’s literally one of the biggest scams in all the games😂. introduced my city instead of just having it be a menu ,so if you want to get to one quest, you have to walk for 5 minutes OR you can pay $10 for a bike. Don’t like the fact that you’re NBA player can’t even dribble the ball? You could grind 50 hours OR you can spend $50 so that the game is actually playable right away! but before you spend all your VC on your players rating did you notice that you only own a brown shirt?😂

Why does my 2k not have a story mode it has my career but it always just sends me straight to the NBA I played 2k19 and I love the story from going to china and then the g league and then finally the NBA and I always assumed they just stopped the story but when I look at videos online they always have a story mode and I’ll look up online why and can’t find anything about it. Can someone please help me?

Actually I’ve done some like 100 points, 30 assists, Top 40 50 60 points & the FIBA on all 12 mins. My only question is, I just learnt about the Legendary Rank? Cap breakers? Can help me how to do those on just playing My Career? My internet is way too slow to grind with others and it will end up Ill be a liable if I play Rec and Solo is impossible to guard because of massive delay. Im here in Cambodia and no one plays Basketball here, all Soccer so I am forced to play outside good ping. I hope 2K consider putting something for a player like me who loves grinding. I want to reach that Legenadry and Cap breakera badly!
