Pile 4. Exact!! Life long connection, but he was married at the time. I'm also married now too. Last time we interacted in a public sporting venue, he asked me to come, then iced me out and ghosted. At times, earlier in this connection, he was critical of me in front of my peers. I always wondered why? He intentionally rejected me, pushed me away and then ghosted. It's right person, wrong time. No doubt we have lived together in past lives. This connection is magnetic but painful. And he does have a big role in the community and his image is everything. I realize we will never have a relationship other than platonic. I had hoped for reconciliation but don't see him every reaching out.
