Pile 3: this is scary accurate. He is a coward. I know he loves me but he chose to let go and start something new because it's easier. Sabotage is the real word. I am too honest and he can't take it. In the process he's hurt me enormously. I am so angry at him for making me feel so little. He told me I'm stronger than him but he doesn't realize how much he's hurt me. Pile #1, He is gay and I found out but he doesn’t know that I know. He is not wanting to be gay. He is not wanting to be seen differently by his circle of family and friends. He is rejecting himself, and I gave him grace and the opportunity to share his burdens. He hurt me really bad because he tortured me with his anger and tore down any my self image. He did this over a period of time, he saw how much it hurt me and how it affected my life. I offered my friendship, I was willing to accept him completely as he is and I was willing to help him through all his struggles. By the end I was so broken, I couldn’t understand what was real or not real. It took me one year, everyday I fought, I couldn’t sleep, I had so many responsibilities and I was left alone to understand everything and heal everything. He thinks he’s done nothing wrong, because technically he didn’t break any “rules” of dating. But I wish he would admit to me that he’s definitely tampered with the moral grey-area. If he wasn’t ready to go deeper and he knew that, he should never have started seeing me knowing I was open to a real connection. It stings, and my heart has been heavy because he’s been my best friend for awhile now and we have great chemistry.
