Julian, I have a theory. You know the light up rings? From the light up toy ring toys? If you look at the healing staff in the "Become a member", it shows the same color and glow as the Horse shoe light up ring. So, here's my theory: The healing staffs were broken when the phantoms nearly destroyed all of jamaa. They could be shards of them, since the glow is unlike any other ring, and more like the healing staff shown in the new become a member montage book. So, that's why you can't specifically buy them in Jamal's shops because it's sacred; Too much of value, and too powerful (Also assuming that one of the alphas look over what shopkeepers sell.) It would be found like the gem shards the forgotten desert. That's why it isn't "light up ARMOR" or "Light up GAUNTLET" because, similar to the gem shards in TFD, they'd be too small to form that, but the perfect size to create a ring because it's small.

I believe that Mt. Shiveer is Greeley's hideout. On the map, Mt. Shiveer is right above Jamaa Township, and you can see it from his hideout. The hot spring on Mt. Shiveer is also a sign that there is lava inside of the mountain.

Also, I believe the beta den has a telescope (To find the phantoms from a distance). Now, this could refer to Graham OBSERVING things, of course, but the telescope seems to be pointing out into the distance, not up in the sky.

Now you just need to figure out where the Alpha's Hollow is. Ya know, the *PLACE WHERE THE BOOKS CONFIRM THAT THE ALPHAS LIVE AFTER THEY'RE CHOSEN TO BE ALPHAS.* I think the alpha dens we can buy are the old dens of the alphas. As for Cosmo still having that den in Meet Cosmo? I think he turned that into his garden house. After all, all he has in it is a potion set, some plants, and a hammock.

This makes so much sense! The only thing is.. I'm not sure but because Liza protects all the animals in Jamaa it makes sense that she would live in Jamaa Township. The only thing is if she has all the animal gems that let new animals come to Jamaa why is she storing them in Greely's storage places? Maybe because she doesn't want the phantoms expecting to find them in her hut in Jamaa Township... I think those gems you where pointing out are the Animal Gems? let me know in a comment if there are any loop holes in this... like if you agree?
