That was the first clip I ever saw (on a Daily Dose Of Internet vid), and I was blown away! Soon after, I stumbled upon Billi the cat, and was amazed to see a cat doing it as well as a dog! Not that I've ever been one to underestimate animals, but wow, this is groundbreaking stuff!

I absolutely agree that even without the buttons, Bunny has taught me to be more aware of my dogs' body language and needs. For instance, I never force them to do anything/let them do things at their own pace and always acknowledge them when I notice that something is not quite right. Its such a fruitful exchange and I hope to learn more as time goes by.

If this is real. It’s possible that the Clever Hans Effect could be at work. That being said, my parents had a dog a number of years back that seemed to understand some basic words like ball, outside, hedgehog (for a toy she had), food, chicken, vet, the names of some dogs, and the first names of a few people, and possibly up to twenty or thirty other words. Anything beyond that would probably be a stretch, though.
