It’s great to see your daughter reading fiction. It seems so rare amongst kids these days. My daughter is 20 and only occasionally reads something other than uni texts. She is missing out on so much. Burial Rites is fabulous. You won’t be sorry you picked that up. It’s funny now but every time I’m in Kmart I think of you and your hauls if I see something you bought like those chip clips. 😂

I agree. I’m 20, used to love reading but feel like I can’t get into books now after seeing so many good movies, shows, etc. I feel like kids nowadays need to have something more visual! Sucks because we’re losing our creativity! Xx

I always check the books before buying them, as I’m the same. Horrifies me when people bend their books back. I’ve been in Kmart when they put out their books and they tend to squeeze them into their wire creates. Big W tend to take more care and sometimes are cheaper.

😆 my logic is books should look like they’ve been well used 😘😘 but I admit I like any book that I buy to look pristine though 🤪 I also find Big W tends to have a better selection of book too 😍😍
