What to do about the rats

The first hole 🕳️ you showed is a typical Rat hole, I've seen them in the middle of lawns, quite often there is a shed nearby also. You may have to try a few different poisons if that is the route you wish to go. I would probably want to get rid of them, but I imagine there are more around the allotments so you may be fighting a losing battle. It would be worth asking another person you see if they have any rats and what they do about them.

There are definitely more around the allotment. I have got them on a wildlife camera
