Megan Carolan I always wanted to be a doctor but I’m not smart enough. I failed too many math and science classes. And EMTs don’t make much money. I already started a small business and am making more money that way, and if I work hard enough, I could make even more. But I would still like to be in the medical field in some way. Perhaps like a volunteer EMT or try to be in the National Guard Reserve as a medic or something I don’t know.

This happened to my husband a day ago. It was terrifying and he started turning blue. Luckily with the thrusts and a couple mouth sweeps I got it out. Scary, but at least I knew what to do. Everyone should have this under their belt. It’s worth it.

This technique saved me when I was choking as a kid, the life guard at the pool did this, took about 4 or 5 tries but the huge gobstopper stuck in my throat came flying out.. they never sold those lollies again 👍

I choked while eating and my family didn’t care at all and kept eating.. I just coughed a lot and drank water. Wish I had a caring family that shit hurts me🥺
