Never been locked up, been homeless/strung out but never over the wall. Always vital to listen to points of view like yourself, who were there. Great stories and videos all the time! Congratulations on the success of your channel. I did 17 years in Texas. Iv been out almost 3 years. April 1st will be 3 trips around the sun. Anyway I have been blessed to be able to get a job with Tyson Foods and keep it. I got some good stories about my time. I landed on the J.b.connally unit in 01 and left it in 16. If you remember that was the unit that the 7 guys escaped from. I was in close custody and it a real trip watching all that unfold as a new boot. Anyway man keep it up. I'll be watching. Independent wood for life.

I feel you on people changing. When i was young i was involved in all kinds of nonsense i was NOT a gang member but i did my fair share of dirt and was very fortunate to not have done time the only thing that saved me was my father convincing me when i was 17 to join the U.S. Army. I got out of the army in my 20s , started a family and never looked back. These days i do private security work and thank God every day for my wife, kids ,my life and that i was able to turn it around before i ended up in prison, or dead like most of my family who continued down the path i jumped off of. Hey bro, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for what you are doing. I got caught up in some trouble over here in Spain, been awaiting trial for 2.5 years now (slow moving system over here). Looking at 3-4.5 years if judge says I'm guilty. Knowing about what things are like inside, even if it's in the USA and not here, makes me a little less nervous about it all. @@jimirsayssponsor5844 my lawyer ended up being offered a plea deal by the prosecutor in Dec of 2020. Had to wait until March 2021 for a date in court to plead. Took about 5 minutes signed the paperwork and I was done. Got a suspended 2 year sentence (which means I only have to serve it if I get another jail able offense during the next 2 years,, which won't happen because I left the country). I also got a $18,000 fine... but the penalty for not paying is just 45 days of suspended sentence so I didn't pay. Turned out to just be a long vacation with a couple thousand in lawyers fees. Back in the USA now.

I got a $75 bag which was max commissary in my country, and put it all under my bunk. I went out on the deck to play basketball and came back to everything gone. I didn’t scream or make a scene because that’s dry snitching. The co’s in our jail would use a cell robbery as an excuse for a shakedown. But I asked around never figured out who did it. Only one that got smacked was my celly for leaving the cell door open. I had a group behind me though so whoever did was definitely shook. Never happened again
