If you follow the questline to the Emerald Dofus you´d get an idea what even a Dofus is haha ;) Just did it myself after playing 10+ years Edit: Well Benja said it himself in the video haha. So there ya go :p

Thanks for the suggestion Nightmares - I have thought about that before, but I think I would have to break it up into specific stories... like JUST Dark Vald and the Emerald Dofus for example... the problem is, I don't think I know it well enough to really tell it well - and that's one of those things that if I made a video on it and got some of the details wrong... people would jump ALLL over me about it...lol. I might give it a shot at some point, but it's on the back burner for now. :-)

1st..... awesome intro bwahahahahaha! ahhhhh boredom breeding 👍 that method has kept me "present" in game and my 12 years of subscriptions "useful" at times when I just couldnt be bothered with much else in the game. Its caused a " \\(✧ᗜ✧)// babbbbiiiiieeeeesssss \\(✧ᗜ✧)// " addiction my husband finds annoying as well as working towards the Achievements for Dragoturkeys! Love the bit about helping other players for free!!!! Yes I agree that the game has become so focused on "whats it worth ya" type of play rather than the simple joy of just helping out of the kindness of your heart. Its the thing I struggle with the most in game. If you're a solo player from the beginning of Dofus, having to pay to win was always frowned upon, now all people see a $$ (KK) signs everywhere, from the location of a portal to finding a group to complete an end-game dungeon that cant be soloed. Anyone from the "early days on Rosal/Rushu/Shika may remember Cato-Catastrophe (CatOcatastrophe) ? She was epic at helping people and encouraging others to help too. p.s. love the modesty @ 5:25 bless ya Ben, you're famous mate!

I often feel bored in Dofus and one thing that helps me a lot is starting a new character. Last year I felt extremely bored on Echo, started a new fresh character on Ilyzaelle and really enjoyed it. It felt so different just because it's a mono account server. Now I'm playing on both servers and having a lot of fun :)

Yeah, ultimately, it typically comes down to just trying to really change things up. Dofus is not near as 'grindy' as it was years ago, and I think some people fear starting new characters because they still think about everything they had to do previously. But the journey is the fun part! :-)

Trying to get back into Dofus now! Just made a Eliotrope on Echo..New class and New server and some thrill..I'm only level 21 at the moment going slow trying to learn the ropes of this class..very head scratchy haha

Welcome back Curtis - Elio is a VERY fun class, but has a learning curve for sure. If you haven't watched it yet, check out my Elio beginner portal guide - it will show you the ropes for all basic Elio moves. Hope that helps.

Hey there Young Tips, it's awesome you want to make a channel as well. Be sure to check out my video on Starting Your Own KZbin Channel... it will help get you started from an equipment/software stand point. I might be making an editing tip type video at some point, but if you do a KZbin search for whatever editing software you use (I use Filmora 9... it's fantastic, cheap, and works awesome - highly recommend it), you'll find lots of videos demonstrating how to do simple edits. My advice is start small with the edits... don't worry too much about making it perfect - you'll get better with practice. :-)

Hi Yuriy - actually I do have plans for both of those (class guides & duo suggestions). The class guides take a lot of work though, so it's not always easy for me to work on them. I'm trying to come up with an easier/more concise way of making them - I would love to get a guide out for every class.

Sometimes I get bored with my Sram (lvl 162) but I'm terribly afraid of making a new chracter since I have a "history" of leveling my characters up to lvl 50 or smth. and then delete them. I don't want that to happen again (but that helped me with getting to know every class a little bit) so I rather work on my profecions since I did not do that often back then. but thanks for the tips :)

I play on the old Account of my mother and I have 3 of her old characters there (lvl 100 Enutrof,lvl 150 Eniripsa and a 200 lvl Osamodas) and sometimes when I'm sick of my Sram and want to throw my Laptop across the room I play with them, but not alot since I don't know if I'm allowed to. My mother is one of the OGS she made the Account in 2006 I think...

You need to create another character in another server, not in a heroic one, just a normal server

If you are dying and it tells you that you have to start from level 1 again, then you are on a Heroic server, those servers are you die = you lose all items and you start again. Perhaps try Echo or Ilyzaelle servers, there if you die, you either go back to your last saved Zaap or if you have run out of energy you turn into a ghost and need to go to a Phoenix statue to return back to "life". But you keep the level your character is and keep all the money and items in your inventory.
