Hi, my family and I are visiting hong kong and was hoping to catch the best view of the new year firework. Do you think we will be able to see it from the ritz-carlton hotel if our room is facing the harbor?

Hi Tracey, first of all thanks a lot for watching my video :) I myself haven’t been to the Ritz in HK but I just googled and it says the rooms are on very high floors (100 and above) so if the room is facing directly to the Center of Victoria harbour where the NYE fireworks are displayed, you should be able to have a good view, but honestly I cannot confirm it. I suggest you ask this question directly to the hotel to confirm the room view and why not even request them to send you a real photo from the room type you’ll book, to prove it. Still recommend to check out some other options in HK where you could enjoy the fireworks outside in a nice restaurant or rooftop bar, or among people, depending on your preferences!
