Really great destination. It does feel like Europe from the architecture. It does get easier to entertain the kids as they get older. Bear is 24 now, but we have been traveling since he was 6 months old. As a father son team of traveling anthropologists and park rangers, we love people who share culture, history, food and natural places as they travel. Glad to find you doing a great job of this. @@familytraveltime just got back it was great! We checked out the ostrich park, all of Solvang, went to noqui falls to see the waterfall,,went to chumash lake, rented pontoons, solvang brewery is so good. Finished trip by driving that scenic route to Santa Barbara spent day there My family had the best time, thanks again!!

Great video as usual. We have been to Solvang and we love the place. You guys should check out Leavenworth, WA. It’s another beautiful European themed town on the banks of The Colorado river.

It’s actually on the Wenatchee river which is a tributary of the Columbia River. The Colorado doesn’t flow anywhere close to Leavenworth.

Haha he is sooooo picky doesn’t like anything we even offered him meat even though I am vegetarian (Yeva is writing). So anything he eats we are happy.

Thanks! Main camera I use is the Sony A6400 and I like to use a very wide lens the 10-18mm for most of the shots with a gimbal whenever possible.

The name of the hotel is Wine Valley Inn, we got chateau loft. It was charming, but to be honest was outdated. We got one of the better rooms and we were still little disappointed. Basic rooms probably are not worth it at all. Hope you have an amazing time there! We truly love Solvang and the vibe there and go there all the time.
