My fearful avoidant ex monkey branched to another. He was nervous telling me and offered me friendship. I declined his offer, wished him well, and let him go without a tear. I texted him to return my possessions at his home, and thanked him for his help in my life. End of story. I processed my heartbreak and am healing. We were together four years in a mostly good relationship. His new love has emotional problems. I guess I was too healthy. Lol. Life is actually getting better for me without his emotional problems.

When she monkey branched to another person, I moved on even quicker.. I immediately unfollowed her on everything, blocked her number and only wanted to discuss about our children and the divorce. Through email. Everytime she tried to use emotional on me, I shut it down quickly and said not my problem anymore. I only want to deal with the kids and divorce. Funny how their actions causes a response far more severe than normal break up where we can be friends still. There’s no way I’ll be friends with a cheat.

I feel bad about myself that I chase her after she cheated on me, that I fought when she resigned, that I cried when she was stone cold. I did all of that for my son and to save our family. I was afraid and that fear made me weak, so today when I moved on and look back I really regret that but then I just fought for my family. Just boosted her ego but I couldnt believe that after so many years she can just switch off her love, I thought there was sonething in her heart still and just wanted to bring it back. 😢

She left me for someone else 9 months ago so she monkey branched and now lives with him and she is pregnant with him. 😢 and I'm here heart broken but I respected her decision and let her be its hard when we have 2 children of our own and 11 years together, we are 38 years old and she left me for a 22 year old. I did that mistake, she cheated on me after 17 years together, we have a son. Then she left and I panicked, wanted her back, contacted her, wrote beautiful messages, I was obsessed because of fear of being alone. Put pressure on her, asked her to reconsider etc. Nothing worked and today after 6 months apart I live with my son and I finally moved on, accepted that it's over and even if she would come back today I wouldn't take her. I learned that I was missing a fantasy person, not the one she really is: a fucking cheater. I was just afraid and that clouded my vision, it's simple if she doesn't value me, fuck her and move on. It's still not easy but I don't look back anymore, and you have to realise how hard it was for me since we share time with our son and I have to constantly see her.
