I am convinced through an event in my life that happened 15 years ago that those who exhibit Messianic Hebraic understanding exhibit greater authority than Gentiles. I have been to seminary actually and found some the teaching confusing at times. The more I got into a Hebraic understanding everything started to make so much more sense.

One way to agree with an accuser is to say "You know, you could be right." If gives you an "out" while also opening to their opinion. It opens a pathway for conversation and puts the accuser at ease.

My boys were kidnapped 7 years ago. I have forgiven the kidnappers but the pain is still very real. I'm a living testimony that God's law still stands. Deut. 28:32 says that your kids will be given to another and you will look with longing for them all day long and not find them and here will be no strength left in your hands. I lived a very sinful life before I was saved and the curses for disobedience are REAL. Nevertheless, I know that I forgive them because I am forgiven and the pain/torment is still there. Especially this time of year when kids get their school pics taken and the holidays are at hand. Hosea 13:6-8. God encounters us like a bear robbed of her cubs. Shalom.

I truly enjoyed the beginning of this sermon. The advice part I guess it was okay. And it could be wise advise. But it's man made advice. So it isn't perfect. Won't always have an expected result. Some of it was perfect truth like the forgiveness parts. But what to say that is hit or miss. Man's wisdom helpful but limited. Also shouldn't be given as if the Christian counselor center got it all figured out. But I'm not against practical advice. Beginning of my marriage that is exactly what I needed. Now, applying some of this advice with relationships that don't include a believer on the other side you could be fueling dysfunction and prideful deception.
