I wish I had seen this guide when I first tried out on multiplayer. Knowing how many rags to use or how different dressings work together would have saved me a couple of deaths at least. Great guide with great detail that is REALLY helpful to a nooblet like myself!

Very helpful and clear, thank you ! A thing that keeps me wondering is base building, and make it SAFE. Like some tips for traps, which are the best ones, their mechanics, how to place them effectively, how to build to be able to defend.. Also even gold locks aren't that powerful to me after me having seen some videos of some guys going through more than 50 of them like butter when raiding a base ^^ Maybe bases where you have to deconstruct/construct stairs to get in ? thanks ! Ah, and also please eat my coment dear youtube algorythm 🤣

Hahaha you legend, cheers for the comment. Yeah so next up is a weapons handling, this won’t be majorly long so I may incorporate a base build in to the end of it for next week. The thing with lock picking is, once your skill is high enough and you’ve done enough of them they do become easy. Especially if you raid for the majority of your time online it’s something that’s easily trainable if you put the time in to it. I’ll take a look around and see what I can come up with for base building.

this is such a huge help.. I may actually try again... I gave up on scum because the very first place I arrive to I would get slapped by a puppet and then die as there were not enough bandages around and like you say cutting up poor conditioned rags do nothing. I will give it another go armed with this info. time to reinstall it@

I actually love playing it, until I die with bleedouts. and knowing that a C1 bleed will heal on its own means I will save rags until I really need them!. I never knew about the ctrl for the info!!! and having someone explain whats up makes all the difference. I have got sick with DayZ and how its really only PVP focused. and I do love the game. but I want more of a survival experience.. SCUM is just that. I will have a blast later thanks to this vid! new sub here!

CORRECTION to this video: 2 Rags will NOT always just treat a C1 injury, and 5 rags will not always treat a C4 (it depends on the healing item used and its condition). You will need to "fill up" the white square edge around the injury 'indicator box' to fully heal/treat any injury AND the worse the injury you will need more/better healing items to do so. The best healing items are: Hemostatic Dressings and Tourniquets.

You saw in the video even with the white bar not full on a c1 using 2 rags it still closed the wound, yes filling the bar fully will help but generally I’ll do that on worse injuries, sometimes I’ll leave c1’s to just close themselves and not waste the medical item. All dependant on the situation really. Aseptic rags are cheap and easy to make and also help with infection so they are you’re best bet tbh imo. Tourniquets are good for c3-c4 again depending how many injuries you have stacked 🙂

I just downloaded this game and have played a bout eight hours and have absolutely nothing to show for it because when I die it, just Spond me across the map and just keeps happening

A random spawn will spawn you anywhere across the map, if you can get funds in your account you can at least get a sector respawn to get your gear back.its happened to me before, died 4 times in a row and ended up in the minus. Loot up small towns etc to get started, get yourself 2-3k in the bank at least then you have some leeway when spawning if you die 🙂 Oh and if you’re in a PvE/PvP server make sure you destroy your starter card every time you land. You don’t want someone getting hold of that 🙂

Is petrol some kind of foreign drink? I have never seen it. Is it too carbonated or something? I only drink natural stuff.

Not sure if to take that as a serious comment or not 😅 Either way, petrol is short for petroleum, which is what you in the US would call gasoline haha.

Pour alcohol on the wound, you can use alcohol to make aseptic rags, or eat a single antibiotic, should get rid of it 😊
