I see, however it doesn’t seem to apply to betrayal. The trauma is an impact too great to just ignore because trust is broken. I am a Christian and it sounds like your philosophy is similar as well. I know you don’t agree with western psychology, however, I combine biblical values with it as well. I can try to be the woman he fell in love with even though he isn’t doing that but it’s no longer the same. I can’t help but to be afraid he will cheat again as the statistics said so, and he isn’t working on accountability. We have no children because I can’t trust him yet so it’s not fair to put children through our issues and risk having divorced parents. He kept saying he’ll figure it out but it’s been five years. He broke the marriage bed, yet I didn’t leave right away. The adultery is already the grounds of divorce and I’m ready now.
