Too often people associate this game with intellect when a large part is luck, money and armor. If you happen to just come accross an entire platoon with camo engaged thats not stupidity its luck.Without any indication on the mini map you're clueless as to what's in front of or around you. More evidence it's largely luck is when I go to shoot a tsnk and righr as I hit the button it disappears right in front of me.That's why I say this game is almost more akin to battleship than an actual tank battle.
@dialerdialerston64034 жыл бұрын
This is my experience every time I que into Random battles solo, my WN8 rating has me as an above average player but my winrate is 45 percent which is horrible, I definitely have come to the conclusion that your winrate is tied to how lucky you are, does your team not drool when they breath? No matter how skillful you are it doesn't matter considering you influence 7 percent of the outcome solo and in a platoon you can influence the outcome 21 percent, wayyyy better odds imo. So what is the solution? Play in a platoon of three and notice your win rate goes up, not being skillful, or knowing the maps, knowing the gun pen or armor values of the enemies. Just have two friends... thats literally the way to increase your win rate in WOT.
@andrei87642 жыл бұрын
Same here, above average WN8 and yet I have an abhorrent winratio of 43%. I know I'm not the greatest player but I sometimes play 50-60 games in a day and everything goes up but my winrate goes down since out of those 60 games 35 of them were 15-2 for the enemies, 10 were draws and 15 were wins. I'm tired of people calling me retarded for having a 43% winrate but what am I supposed to do when I'm bottom tier in a stock tank whilst my team got ploughed through like it was Lana Rhoades

Survival of the fittest. As much as i adore good teamwork, in WoT its rare. Ends up like "every man for himself". People are impatient and get tilted quick, which leads to premature rushes. Some players even start harassing their allies or making psychical pressure to yolo spot, etc. WoT seems like a slow game, but in high tiers few mistakes develop things quite quickly. There's another side to that coin regarding the team pushing into camo'd TDs. You have to recognize where your team wants to fight and help them push. If you get ahead of them and unmask those enemy campers, it goes the other way really quickly. Your guys can't shoot what they can't see. This could be a loss due to you scouting where you were least needed.

And like the majority of WoT players this jedi guy fails to exhibit basic understanding of game mechanics or halfway decent reading comprehension. Did I blame anyone for anything? No. I said someone needed to unmask their campers. The two friendly lights were failing to do that because they obviously don't understand what needs to be done. Meanwhile, Lemmingrush spent all of his time fighting the least aggressive reds. The reds that aren't going to serve up a loss. I'm talking about target prioritization. What tanks need the most attention and what area of the map does. Lemming says that a certain part of the map is most important when that isn't always the case. So he married himself to that area of the map instead of adjusting to what the teams are doing. Thanks for your input Mrjedi but I don't think you've contributed to this discussion. @@robo2729 Wn8 conscious people do not play this game to win, and this naturally includes all the so.called unicums. There are a lot of bad players around, but this is what makes the small horde of wolves able to prey on the sheep. Until the sheep are happy with the grass, everyone is happy. And many people play this game with a min-maxing attitude. They just play the tanks that are op and those that offer some ridiculous feature, e.g. like the KV-2. Not for the fun of it. And blame goes there partly for WG, naturally. I like LemmingRush's vidoes, I guess you have not read my other comments regarding his other ones. But that does not save this one from being questioned. Because he made some very questionable decisions. And I have no hardships accepting that he knows what he is doing. I just tend to not fully like or appreciate why he is doing that in this case. I have seen a few battles, and all, who are above 50k battles and has 1900+/8300+ ratings will attest that games are regularly turned around by one or a very few people, in bad situations even. I reached the peak of my abilities there I guess, as I am being constantly on this level, with very minor improvements. Though I never play for Wn8, and maybe I am approaching the grandfatherly age :), and also lately playing much less than I used to, which can also be considered a better choice by many. And I may be too much of a fighter (and yes, I tend to drive my lights as mediums, and I know it is not the best, but working on it, though failing honourably :) but I do not like lost causes to be admitted and games given up, and as in this game you can not withdraw your forces you are forced to fight till the end anyhow, All added up, I uphold my views on this video and gameplay, and happy to see if you disagree, but not happy to receive these kind of a personal remarks, if you know what I mean.

By far the most common scenario these days in WoT, no one plays as a team anymore, it's an individual battle, YOYO to try and get the best stats you can out it...Nothing different than what several other channels have said long ago(Quickybaby, Jingles, Claus , Circon, etc), all you can do is try your best with a team of stupids, you did nothing spectacular, same as what we all do when faced with a loss. As the odds stack up against you like a domino affect, of course you go for the tank that's easier to kill, lower HP, less numbers, etc...As a light try to use your spotting view distance to your advantage, and use your speed, other than that, your screwed by the stupids in the end anyway.

Yeh, I do all this and have keen awareness of enemy position/map. End story in these situations: you're fucked no matter how well you do personally. There is no saving a game full of numpties that dont know how to tank. Biggest thing I have noticed is people rush up to bigger and bigger tanks/higher tiers without even mastering basics. That or they outright buy a higher tier premium thinking bigger is better adn they end up being a liability. The one bottom line piece of advice I can give folks is this: Learn the maps, how to predict enemy movements and (for the love of God), learn how to use what you drive. DONT rush up a tank tree expecting that bigger is better. It isn't. The only thing you will definitely do is fail time and time again, be a liability, and never really learn how to tank effectively. With exception of a handful, each tank has its strengths but if you haven't a clue what they are, you're just going to be a XP/credit pinata.

Tanks man, you provide the most useful videos that we can benefit from. Very nice to watch and pretend that we could do it like you did. I just wish you upload more videos like this. I have been in this kind of situations a lot and died alone or just died in vain almost every single time. Never had a patience to stop and think and just run the f from the place i have been stuck in. After 18k battles i just haven't learn to run yet :( Cheers from Serbia

Am I the only one who thinks it’s pretty stupid to use a sample size of one game on the most OP map for light tanks and playing one of the most OP light tanks and saying “My team is idiots and I’m just going to farm. This strat will work every time!” This is dumb, this won’t work in every situation. And while I agree it is sometimes 29v1 he completely just gave up on his team to early and restored to farming damage instead of actually securing kills....

LR, You made the best out of a really really situation. Well done sir. Would you consider doing a map review of the new Great Wall map, please. Thanks

Not wrong about xvm.. See purple and blue other side get deflated and not play a game on its merits.. Better to die trying than just give up.. Once again the way you explain your tactics just so clear and logical..

When i play this map as scout i prefer driving into village and circle there between houses so the hill is secured. Yes wooden houses are not strong to protect you but there are many of them.

My problem is that I'm in this situation with a BDR in tier 7 games and 3 cancers, with friendly team rushing back to hide at the red line including the spotters. Yeah.
@ALENGLEDJA6 жыл бұрын
Well, with BDR you can have pretty good games you know, wait till you get ARL in tier 8 games, and play with stock guns, then you will eat your own balls man... at least BDR has competitive armor for tier 5

It's easier to save games in moble tanks like lights and meds

I think when dealing with teams like that you have to let go of the illusion you might win this game. Play for damage and credits instead. Try to stay alive as long as you can. Don't be useless. You will likely not win but you break even and still get a mark of excellence or WN8 if that's important to you.
@NathanStar-vw3dm6 жыл бұрын
im kind of convinced WG is playing its own bots to lift a falling player base. I sometimes think they try and steer outcomes too. You know those games where 3-4 tanks die in the first few minutes by yoloing or sitting in the open ?
@cyphi4746 жыл бұрын
If your idea was spot tanks crossing tracks for hill, you could use bush under the hill or some of bushes in village. It wouldnt change outcome but you got hit for nothing trying do it risky from tracks area.

Just had a series of losses because nobody knew what to do. Also, there was one game where everyone sat in the corner of the map. In addition, there have been no scouts willing to scout.

@@tijoelito - Many are trying to get missions done or work up to a medium higher tier in the line. I dislike playing scouts, but on the maps well known, I do well.

there was one more possible play, and that was to increase the chance of idiots push towards unspoted tds, by taking that last dip next to them, and distract them and spot them... doesnt guarantee a win, and probably would get you a ton of assist instead of own dmg...

Arty: "Lemming_Rush, reported. Why you not spot?" Holy fail teams. This was just one of the many reasons why I stopped enjoying the game. There are challenges and then there are facing impossible odds. Great effort on the save, but it's unfortunate that a loss is still a loss. Great team there *rolls eyes*.

WOT on PS4 is about a million times more fun than on PC. No bullshit rollerskate "armoured cars", everyone gets sixth sense. No hatred or rage as no chat. Crap tanks are generally buffed xompared to PC. The playing field feels more level and most battles are actually fun. Fun was engineered out of the PC version years ago.

Like your videos although i am on wotb. IDIOTS----- Some players have nothing better to do than push and shove their own allies and other annoying things. I have had this on the Normandy senario near the beach. With my tougher tank that he does not have i just turn things around and shove him over the cliff into a bunch of enemies. I do what i can to assist team members but many do not help me out. Still never mind i just keep playing and hope to get on better next time round.
