Lets assume that the previous owner has a payment plan of $55 per month on Iphone 14 pro, and it is being sold on ebay as FINANCED WITH ATT, and I buy it, would I go on the same plane, meaning $55 per month with ATT or can I go on any other plan with ATT? Also, if the previous owner did not make payments for 3 or 6 months, would I have to pay that money also before I activate it on my account? Thanks.

Great question, I think you should be able to get any plan with AT&T they won't locked your iPhone, after 6 payments or more I will try the unlock method on the video, maybe it will work.

Can we unlock ATT iPhones running 15.5 - we are going with Puretalk, they use ATT towers, and uses ESIMS, but looks like it won't work due to financial lock? Stores that normally do ATT said they haven't Ben able to use their normal techniques for two months.

There's a lot of flaws in this video...the biggest I'd like to point out is for the seller to get ANY insurance money after filing it as lost/stolen, their Apple ID MUST 100% MUST be signed into THAT phone at the time of it being lost/stolen.

@@SuAmigoAlex and you'd need to be signed in to icloud to do so remotely. I've dealt with Assurion, you literally have to show them your icloud account being logged into that device. Go into YOUR Apple ID & if you're signed in to more than one apple device click on the one that's NOT the one you're using. It'll show you the serial number. If you can't show that your 2nd device is signed in AND put in lost mode, Assurion insurance will not pay you.

I THINK IF GET A PHONE UNLOCKED IT CANT BE BLACKLISTED. I HAVE 2 PHONES THROUGH ATT AND I BOUGHT UNLOCK CODES AND I CAN PUT ANY CARRIER SIM IN IT THAT IS ON A GSM NETWORK AND IT WORKS. IF YOUR ON A INSTALLMENT PLAN AND YOU THROW A SIM FROM ANOTHER CARRIER YOUR GOING TO GET A MESSAGE WELL IN MY CASE SAYING THAT ITS NOT SUPPORTED AND IT ASKS FOR A UNLOCK CODE. ATT WILL ONLY GIVE YOU AN UNLOCK CODE AFTER THE PHONE IS PAIS OFF BUT I UNLOCKED THE PHONES MYSELF AND THEY WORK WITH ANY CARRIER ON A GSM NETWORK AND THEY ARE PERMANENTLY UNLOCKED.
