just went to taichung and had the angel fried chicken; came back to taipei and found there's a location in da'an, imo the quality is the same! (although i went on a rainy weekday evening where there was only a couple orders in front of me.)

Night markets are the best for us. The weather is nice and cool and that's when we're the most hungry. That scallion pancake sounds like something we would love. We've never had anything like those sweet potato balls. Even better if it's not oily. A friend of ours just told us about those taro balls. Great food tour, dear friend.

Yeahh we had the same question too when we tried it...how the fried sweet potato ball is not oily?!? we tried the grilled squid instead of the fried one, should try the fried version next time! looks good too :)
