My wife, 2 kids (6&5yr old) and sister-in-law toured china town yesterday and tried 4 of your recommendations: Bfast: Chiu Quon Lunch: QXY Snack: Elitea Dinner: MCCB All 4 were INCREDIBLE!!! Pork Bun and moon cake were such unique bfast treats! QXY truffle-beef and lamb-coriander dumplings were so delicate and yummy! My kids loved the fruit smoothies from Elitea and wife said her grapefruit green tea was the best tea concoctions she's ever had. Finishing with MCCB was outrageous. Surprisingly super affordable spot, and we loved the pig oil green onion noodles, and spicy dry chilli chicken! Honestly the best chinese take out I've ever had. We can't THANK YOU enough. Can't wait to try more of your chicago food recommendations!

I grew up in Chicago and we have been going to Chinatown since 1960. You did go to any of the old restaurants we alway go to off 22nd street. Everything was from that new section across Cermak.

I also went to Chinatown. It was amazing! I had some really good bubble tea from Tbaar and also had delicious rolled up ice cream. If you've never been to Chinatown I highly recommend it!

I know atlanta ga has underground shopping mall ..never recall this when I was living there of course that was before you were born. what is weather like mid november between nov 15-20th going there ..do I need winter coat or just light jacket ? You should've done dis mid july on a sunday is when the chinatown fair is but it was august this yr bc of covid last yr. i dont remember food court underground tht pretty last time i went there as a kid. Probs cause the entrance isn't that inviting also which is why most ppl dont go in there

Hing Kee has some of the best soup dumplings I have ever had in my life. I strongly suggest trying them out.

I would have never thought about Chinese bakeries. The ham and egg bun and barbecue bun looked really good. You had some really good choices. That mushroom salad looked so good! I love mushrooms. You had some really good, nontraditional choices. I'll have to check Chinatown out.

You should go to Boonies at the revival food hall downtown for some really good Filipino food. The couple that open it up are really sweet and loving people that are very close to the Filipino community.

Love MCCB. Was just there with my wife a couple of days ago. Wanted to take some friends from out of town there this week, but they are closed on Tuesdays. Bummer. That dried chili chicken is soooo good, but hotter than you can imagine if you've not had it before.

Incredible video and thank you for sharing. Personally I would like to try them all. When Luis showed the ham and egg bao I started drooling as I had my first in Mexicali, Mexico's Chinatown area back in the late 1980's😋😋😋😋 ! While virtually everything looked divine the lovely young lady showing off the Strawberry Bao stole my heart. Strawberries should have their own food group ! 😋😍🤩😋

It's an extremely walkable neighborhood and a quick train ride from the Loop. You can also walk there from the South Loop. It's very much part of the urban core of Chicago 😎

If you're Downtown? You can hop an El(red line) and get to Chinatown in 10 minutes. It's not that far from Downtown & very accessible. The Food? Num-num😋
